Yes, you are shifting your suspicions around everywhere. It's only 2 shots, nothing major, just want you to know I thought it is kind of scummy how wishy washy you are.
I don't carry the exact same opinions throughout an entire mafia game, ever.

How do you know whether yawetag knows easjo's alignment?

By the way, everyone, easjo is a girl, not a guy.
Oh sorry, I saw this, I was just taken back that easjo was a girl haha.

Well this is from the POV of the dead town-aligned players. Scum would know, of course, I am not speaking for Yawetag at all, I am speaking of the prior shooters of eas. Yawetag could very well know whether or not eas is town aligned or not, assuming yaw is scum. This is all a bunch of assumptions, but basically the dead townies that went all-out on eas didn't know his alignment, they shot him with no basis which is poor play.

Ok, that makes sense. You shouldn't have used they in such a way that it is inclusive of yaw, though.

@Mod-

-Can players play more than one Bang! per turn?
-Does the whiskey played by McGriddle on Easjo take effect before or after the 4 bullets hit?

@Easjo-
Is there a reason you only checked barrel on 5 shots instead of 6 shots?

@All-
I'm not sure who is scum. Crazy and McGriddle were my strongest reads. If LC is scum, he's doing a great job of damcon. If McGriddle is scum, he's doing a good job of playing a semi-clueless but well intentioned townie.

I don't know that Yawetag's shooting spree necessarily makes him scum. But I would like to hear reasons for it.

I think I'd be most comfortable if every player were at 1 HP and I just shot everyone who isn't next to me (since those guys haven't yet tried to blitz me with bangs and shots). Not knowing everyone's HP, I'd settle for 5 damage on each person (probably kill some of you, but I'd guess just as likely to kill scum as town). Kill everyone, then finally kill the neighbors (they're welcome to kill each other).

Well, I'm gonna guess that giving everyone the green light to slaughter each other at will isn't going to end well.

yes
Since whiskey restores life points and Easjo hasn't taken a life yet I decided that with every shot she does take I will not take 2 life from her.

I don't like yawetag's explanation of why easjo is scum. I mean, come on. You just have a "feeling" she is scum? Nothing else?

Since giving everyone the green light to slaughter each other is not what I posted, then not sure the relevance of your post.

What I did post was letting everyone get to low health, then once that happens, I can finish off everyone starting with those who are not next to me. Once it comes down to full health Sheriff plus two neighbors, I try to kill off both of them and they try to kill each other.

If someone starts taking random shots, it's probable they are scum.

If either player next to me is a renegade, this might be their best shot at winning, so it should get support from both town and renegades.

I imagine outlaws would be quite opposed, unless both my neighbors are outlaws and they have some very useful cards at hand.

@Yawetag-
I don't know if that was an explanation. What gives you the scummy feeling?

Reducing everyone to the point they can be quickly and easily finished with a couple of mystery shots right before the outlaws rush you isn't going to go well for town.

I suggest we continue scumhunting rather than trying to break the game.

How so? At the moment, there is no reason to believe the mystery shots can occur within 24 hours of player shooting.

As a replacement for NK and a tool for keeping the game moving (two birds with one stone) it is quite possible that the mod allows scum to fire mystery shots if nobody is shooting.

Aside from that, if everyone is at low life and we agree to only let sheriff shoot people, it should be easy to finish off all scum.

Shoot: LC

@Mod-

In the actual game, players are limited in how many cards they have based on how much health they have. Does this limit come into effect in this game?

Also, beer cards become ineffective when there are only 2 players; is that rule in effect here?

I did not include that in this game. I decided on 4 cards no matter what.

Actually I was looking to do it sooner.

Specifically, a shot at less then 24 hours here (not to mention the first shot was after 2.5 hours of game play) and multiple shots here.

You're correct about the less than 24 hour mystery shot. I missed the timing on that.

I'm taking this mod response as soft admission that the shots are somehow related to low activity. I don't believe the targeting is random (or at least not completely random).

Regardless, if scum can arbitrarily fire off mystery shots AND we keep damage even so that all non-sheriff players are at about 1 health, I don't believe it is at all likely that they can freely use the mystery shot to kill all townies+Sheriff before town has any chance to react. Likely, they will kill a couple townies, but will themselves be killed off too.
