I'm trying to read the game and all I see is stuff about cards and penalties and stuff and I don't know what any of it means. How am I supposed to find scum when I don't know what anyone is saying?

Ok, I think I mostly get this game after a little research. Re-reading the entire thread with some understanding of the game.

Electric wants Life Points claimed. Makes sense to me. No reason to keep that hidden.

Actually, a setback there might be scum claiming to have more than they actually do so that they seem more out of reach for a kill.

Back to my question, Farside, your answer confuses me. Is Kast actually confirmed town as sherrif? I know from playing enough of your games that no one is confirmed based on their role unless you say so.

Page 4, Crazy being shot the same way as Kast (unmarked gun) makes me think Crazy is likely town. Well, assuming that Kast is confirmed.

Paltry, 82, taking the time to find who made the shot makes me think he honestly doesn't know. A shot on Kast that Paltry is honestly trying to find means townpoints for Paltry.

Electric, Post 84, could anyone who played a Mustang have taken those shots or if it still Animorph even after you factor Mustangs in? Or is there a chance scum can shoot anyone maybe? Or scum next to Crazy saw the shot on Kast and wanted to set up the argument you are making? Too many possibilities to just assume Animorph shot Kast and Crazy.

Animorph's "Just in case Crazy is town" comment looks more like town Animorph than scum Animorph.

Easjo is Post 88 makes my gut twitch.

Page 5, Darox using all of his shot is kind of..a..big move. I kind of expect that from him though, regardless of alignment.

Easjo shooting Darox actually looks like a towntell...Funny though if Cyanide is scum who still has life points after that. Easjo's shot could be a chainsaw and then Animorph goes to defend Easjo. Almost seems too perfect of a situation, but it would be funny.

I don't think we should assume scum won't shoot each other, just as they might vote each other in a regular game. An early bus isn't out of the question.

Mcgriddle, yes, but how do we know that sheriff is town? Farside has been known to make certain characters have alignments you wouldn't expect. In Drawn Together, I was the evil Strawberry Sweetcake and was town.

If Animorph is scum who can shoot without anyone knowing, and he were to shoot ONLY the sherrif, why wouldn't he? Why would he waste his time shooting everyone he can reach when that only implicates him? If Kast was the only one being shot, no one would think "Oh, it must be Animorph". He's being set up.

Still very much want to know why you're ignoring the two players most in danger of death, and why you're shooting people without any evidence. It's not like I haven't posted enough for you to find something, if I were scum.

I'm not ignoring them. I happen to think they are town.

I use gut to find scum and "evidence" to convince people. So sense convincing anyone in a game where I can basically put anyone I want pretty close to death myself. If I get THAT sure of anything, I'll be sure to put together a case.

Not really. Even if you were right - which you aren't, which just compounds things - killing players with no reason at all is bad play.

Logic should come first, not as required to convince others (which is pretty much the core of scum behavior, btw).

Of the two, I shot easjo because she has more hp left than EB.

And how would you know this? I don't recall ever reading that HPs were the same for every player. EB has one bullet heading towards him/her; eas has 0. If EB's HPs are 6 and eas only has 4, then EB would still have more HP.

So if Yaw's issue with LC assuming Eas had 6 LP was a 'good catch', what should we make of your assumption of Yaw's LP?

Chronos said that Eas specifically had more. He basically stated it as fact. I said that it was weird that Yaw had so many. Nowhere near the same thing.
