I think it more opportune to stick with a started wagon than abandon it to begin another when you're trying to lynch people.

Good luck on your midterms; you should probably study.

Vote Count #9

DiscoRoboto (2) - Mindgamer, mykonian
XScorpion (2) - kyle99, Bio Hazard
Looker (1) - XScorpion
mykonian (1) - Looker
Light (1) - SaintKerrigan

Not Voting (2) - DiscoRoboto, Light

With 9 alive it takes 5 to lynch.

what? my responce to disco's bandwagon?

its now pretty obvious that disco is scum (well 70% sure), but why is there votes on xscorpion? is he more likely to be a scum than disco?

stk, so you would rather me stay on no vote for the rest of this day? is it bad that i join a bandwagon? i want an explanation on kyle as to why xscorpion lynch is better than a disco lynch. i don't do serious votes until i am absolutely sure that this is right. its up to kyle to tell me if its worth even lynching scorpion in the first place.

Oh really? Can you reveal your system for calculating these percentages? Or are you just pulling them out of your ass? I don't think there's any way to calculate percentages, and the only one who knows if someone is town or scum for sure is scum himself.

@Xscorp, about the voting. I don't use my vote that quickly, except if I feel like I'm on the right track and busy with pushing a lynch/suspicions.

Why is it up to Kyle to tell you whether XScorp is worth lynching or not? Also, why is Disco scum?

Generally, on this site, you are strongly encouraged to use your mind and think independently, not just simply agree with every popular bandwagon that comes into play. I generally find not voting scummy, because it allows scum to not take a stance on people. Taking stances forces people to come from out of the shadows, which is where the typical scum wants to be. It forces scum to come up with a position which they must abide by. By not voting, you're making it harder for people to see where exactly you stand.

tl;dr: You should use your vote more, to indicate where you stand on people, or even to apply pressure. The same could be said to you, Disco. Of course, this is my opinion on things, and you're free to ignore my advice, if you wish.

Q: Why is not voting a scumtell?

A: because scum will have to "lie" when voting, has to fake scumhunting. Which is the same reasoning that also shows that voting without a reason is a scumtell.

Q: What is Disco doing here?

A: avoiding any risks, and is not scumhunting

B: what is Disco's role?

I think I answered similar questions to you before Saint. It's just that most if not all of his post contain faulty logic/remarkable stuff. That and he's often inactive, he doesn't really add anything. His 'hit and run' thingy is pretty scummy, in my opinion.
Q: Why is not voting a scumtell?

A: because scum will have to "lie" when voting, has to fake scumhunting. Which is the same reasoning that also shows that voting without a reason is a scumtell.
I WAS voting. Besides, not voting might also just be someone who is more careful in regards to THIS SHIT happening.
Q: What is Disco doing here?

A: avoiding any risks, and is not scumhunting

B: what is Disco's role?
Not scumhunting? What is there to say right now? I'll make a list to clarify:

Scum

mykonian
Looker
Light
Mindgamer
kyle99

XScorpion
SaintKerrigan
Bio Hazard (replacing Doctor danny135)
DiscoRoboto
Town

Btw, Kyle I don't really know... he just hasn't really posted anything.

To clarify on my vote: I voted Light not the other 2 above him because I rather hear things from him right now. Myko I heard enough of to have my suspicions and the same counts for Looker, even though it's probably part of his playstyle (act scummy to get reactions).

Oh and rolefishing is
DULY
noted.

Additionally on the comment Looker (I THINNKKKK) made about bussing a scum partner. I personally find this very improbable on day 1, because that would mean the other scum would have to lynch+kill
8
other doctors.

you clearly see what I mean, and you are purely twisting my words here. Thank you for your scumclaim, scum.

Why have we never heard anything about Mindgamer from you? Is this pure OMGUS? Further, this shit is the game.

Context = win.

it is a rhetorical question... And you know. Because you have read the post, seeing that first I argue why a tell works, then I argue that Disco acts in this way, with the conclusion that Disco is scum.

IF YOU THINK DISCO IS STRAWMANNING HERE, PLEASE VOTE

Because I have school. Sorry, but that has priority over mafia.

Role fishing doesn't even apply in this game, your either a doctor or scum.

Alright, looked over Disco, Light, XScorpion, and Mykonian, and here's my thoughts.

Disco could be scum, but probably not. His vote on Light is certantly justified (more on that later), and I really doubt he's scum.

I looked again at XScorpion, and he could very well be scum. He's dodging questions, lurking, and not really voicing any opinion. However, I've played with town-XScorpion a couple times, and this playstyle certaintly matches his meta.

I keep going back and forth on Mykonian, he will make a post that seems scummy as hell, and then post and appear town. I really would like to see one flip before lynching Mykonian.

I think Light is the person to lynch today. His "i don't do serious votes until i am absolutely sure that this is right" is completely dumb. If no one voted until they were absolutely sure they were right, nobody would bother playing mafia.

Additionally, this line "@kyle what makes you vote scorpion to the extent that you would not lynch disco who has a 70% chance of being the scum" just seems dumb and uses bad logic. Disco does not have a "70% chance" of being scum. That's just an arbitrary argument number that you just threw out their. If I say "Whoa, let's all vote SaintKerrigan, he has a 100% chance of being scum", obviously nobody is going to go with me. Giving reasons why Disco is scum is probably going to give better results than just assigning an arbirtary number to his scummieness.

Last, he just isn't taking any stands or making any opinions. Here's just a couple examples:

"!vote - no lynch"
"yeh i have no suspects."
He also isn't really voting/letting votes stand. Let's lookie at his votes:

1) He voted no lynch. Way to just throw scumhunting out the window.
2) He voted Myko. He gave some crappy reasons, and than unvoted within a day. He also said he suspected that disco was "70% scum", and if you think that, you should apply a pressure vote. Don't just hope that he's gonna give himself up or other people are going to lynch him for you.

unvote, vote: Light

you still haven't really answered my question, kyle, even if your mood has changed about xscorpion now, tell us why you were thinking that a xscorp lynch was a better option for you than a disco lynch?

70% sure is my way if saying that i am 'somewhat sure' disco is scum from his posts.

o no shit no1's gonna vote with you if you say 100%. No-one can ever be 100% sure on something. absolutely sure and 100% do not equal.

As i said before, this is my first time playing mafia on mafiascum. the no lynch was an acceptable way to say that you had no idea whos who on a different forum where i played mafia. i can't believe you guys are so anal about this. Because of your mood towards this, im either on no vote or actually pressuring someone.

do you not think my vote on myko was a pressure vote? i found his answer to me acceptable, which is what prompted no vote?

I wanted to know the exact reasons as to why you wanted xscorpion out rather than disco. im sure nearly every1 here wanted to know. There was already pressure being exerted onto disco, putting more is redundant. Even 1 vote on someone is enough to pressure them as to why they are doing this and that etc. There was enough pressure on disco already. So much that disco went into hyper-active mode and started posting more.

"I don't do serious votes until i am absolutely sure that this is right"
keyword is serious. there are two or more types of votes i see. pressure vote, serious vote (as in yeah there definitely scum), random vote (right im voting you to see what your gonna say because we have nothing right now etc), and not to sure vote (im going to lynch you, but there may be a chance that you really are a townie).

@stk - im asking him because so far, i have seen little to no scum activity from xscorpion at all. i wanted him to highlight to us what made him vote for him and what evidence he has of it.
