Their fakeclaims:

It is one of them, and we have two chances to hit the vig.

fifi is looking very much like scum with SC. If scum doubled up, it makes sense that they would do it on #3, because it still gives them a reasonably high draft.

I can see the other two scum being hoopla and TM--doubling up again. Hoopla pushes the "scum at single numbers" angle all game, she then looks town if soc is lynched, and can argue her theory even more effectively. It's probably not a coincidence that the two biggest groups left are those two groups (1 and 3 X numbers).

Fate's push on SC doesn't feel like SC is the bomb and will prove fate the vig upon death. It's a moot point anyway--an SC lynch will tell us.

@Elli: All my recent games here are ongoing. I think the only full games I had as scum were Mutually assured destruction and a newbie or two.

You should've been convinced I was town a long time ago. Yet you played the scum safecard, "hmm I don't understand what Fate is trying to pull here" just in case a Fate mislynch was possible.

Town, please refer to my list above and take huge handfuls of salt when reading anyone not on the Town list.

Hitting the vig today might give us more margin for error (i.e. allow one mislynch). I'm not sure about the math. We should figure out which is more likely.

Fixed quote, and that post was wrong anyway. 6:4 turns into 5:3 if we lynch the scumvig, so it doesn't give us more room for error. We are good to go if we get him today or tomorrow.

And just basic strategy says that you have your more experienced player take the valuable role.

Fifi slipped massively - enough to give very decent chances of being scum. I don't know why you're pushing a SC vig over a Fifi vig, because it works both ways! Can you explain to me why a Fifi vig, SC bomb isn't feasible considering they both claimed vanilla?

Because if they are both roled, they could have sculpted their fakeclaims this way, and swapped roles to give Fifi vig more protection. So when you consider Fifi is very likely scum (even if he isn't the vig), it makes it the percentage play, right? Because you have that back-up net, that you're still lynching scum anyway. There's a chance of Jack vig, you've suddenly taken out of the equation which I can't work out - so if you go for SC and it's a Jack/Fifi scumteam, it's an automatic loss.

But in a Fifi/SC scumteam, a Fifi lynch is the most rational choice, because you cannot know who is likelier to be vig out of SC/Fifi.

I think he's a very likely scum vig. That's a 3rd vote on him afaik. I'll be around for a while but I don't think a quick hammer is gonna happen, the scum don't wanna bus their vig!!!
