psst there is no sk this game and only mafia. There should be a vig. Now if your asking for a VT to claim to have tried to grab that role to determine who may have the role higher up it's a no brainer that it should be one of the top 2 players because if it got further then that I would be shocked.
Also town or scum being first pick to and not choosing vig would be crazy.

I don't think we can be sure... sometimes there are smart vigs who shoot scum, and sometimes there aren't.

Jack's plan is unlikely. I doubt anyone would go for vig, unless they were really, really low, and then it doesn't really eliminate the suspect list.

The problem with socrates claiming is that town has to claim their role, but scum can claim a role that one of their partners has. But there's only a few plausible roles to take at #1 I guess, and they would probably be gone by later in the draft.

I think it's safe to say the vigilante is very likely in scum's hands, and if this is true, we should be putting all our efforts into finding it asap.

Socrates is the logical choice here - why would scum go for anything else when they know how much damage double kills can be? Losing two townies every night cycle is such a quick road to demise, it isn't funny.

From what I've seen of him before, I'm pretty sure he's town.

Was reading through yesterday and was gonna chime in on the "Kill bouncy with fire for random action" [face_palm]

If he was a town vig, and during the day was after pom, he would have shot her during the night

RedCoyote kill seems like a scumkill--a blatant one. Removing bouncy as role cop freed them up to kill who they wanted. Searching for power roles in the top of the draft. As town vig you don't kill that high.

First off, the last game our #1 town picked vig.
Secondly, vig is an obvious pick for #1, and that is about the only downside to it. And it's also a big incentive for town to keep vig out of the hands of scum.
Thirdly, that's exactly why scum want it, cause it does more *damage* to town.

Answered your own question. Voting Socrates because we need him to claim to move forward, will definitely move on to the Pom wagon when we've sorted him out.

After finally finishing charting the votes I'm in several minds.

I think the vig has ended up in scum hands, but am not sure where.
Soc has really focused on Pom and Fate. If he was a town vig, one of them would have died.
But would Fate have tried for it? Being second I doubt he would have. I wouldn't have. But if he did, well he did vote for Dramonic so a town vig is believable, but Ray or Red. Nope.
Thirdly, someone way down the order could have lucked out. Who here thinks that that is likely?
