I don't think scum doubled up at all if they had a chance to talk about choosing numbers, so it's probably just one from that group. Big if though.

I agree with hoopla that scum wouldn't go for rolecop that high up the list. They'd be trying to grab the vig or maybe the cop, on the off chance they can keep one of those out of town hands.
I also believe bouncy's claim, atleast enough to give him an

A role cop definately helps the scum more then the town. The scum already know their own pr's and would love the info of a role cop.

bouncy: I don't see how you can just glide by in this game without a POV. It's not difficult to read people's post and go by what you believe scum would do/say and post from that.

Confirming a player to have a role is awesome for scum. But I don't believe scum would pick this as a high priority but this does not give bouncy a free pass to not scum hunt.

Also I would like to hear from bouncy on who he picked and why.

Another thought about the bouncy claim; it's possible that bouncy could be scum with Socrates and/or Fate, which would make going for that role a viable option for scum in that position. Or conversely, scum could have picked up role-cop in the bottom half of the draft, which would have made it safe for bouncy to claim it. He might be a scum bomb/bulletproof for example, trying to draw a vig kill. Or is cloaking the identity of a scum vig role, or something that makes more sense as mafia to claim.

I don't think this is that likely, but having the role uncountered doesn't mean it's completely checked out.

Wolf repeatedly "didn't see the case on Fate" but found FeFi suspicious yesterday and bouncy today. If he can see the cases on them he should have seen the case on fate. I don't see him mentioning bouncy at all yesterday.

ISO him, you'll see he got on both wagons at the start of the day and didn't budge/hasn't budged. Only 2 posts today in fact.

Agreed. Scum rolecop does a LOT of help this game. I think the thing about him drafting it early is a point in his favour, but I'd like some content from him apart from his claim.

I have been scumhunting, just not with the intensity that you have. Anyways, I will undoubtedly pick up the pace as the game goes on and night actions become a factor in discussion and there are less people to deal with. I just have trouble getting started.

I think she shouldn't tell ray's role, cause its already one townie that claimed, and we can't afford give scum more info. But.. that is IF Ray is town.

@Bouncy: Wouldn't it make more sense to target one of the top roles? Maybe you could have dound out the cop/vig, or something similar, and be able to unmask fake claims, since cop/vig are common claims when under pressure.

Hoopla's theory sounds about right. I could definitely see him using a lower down's role in order to protect himself (the better PR).

I missed this line of thinking. Bouncy is far from L-1 now, if you had issues with his claim like I did, why did you unvote?
