Dr cyanide, there are things to look at here, it's troubling to hear you suggest that we abandon it. We still have people to hear from, and I've got a couple other bad vibes, and it's early. But to say we should ignore all of this and do what is, I TOTALLY agree, going BACKWARDS, is, well, very backwards of you.

First off, this isn't a good reason to vote for someone...um not even close, and he retracts it almost immediatly saying that he didn't know suave didn't know he was revoting the same person.

Anyways, more often than not, a person would just use the word lynch here. It is a minor/weak/uncertain point, but I can definitely see why it might strike mr sauve. Especially with how horrific it is to hear fifi saying now that it's a town tell.

He hasn't carried it through to the length I did in my last game with julien, although I cautioned him agaisnt it to be fair, but this was exactly my initial response to julien's attacks then. To have elicited the same reaction from another player as he did from me when I was a townie does cause me to doubt this early case some. Though it could just be something fifi had noticed and latched onto to attack julien, it being a fairly obvious aspect of julien's scum hunting and mainly what I cited in calling for his lynch the entire game.

That's another thing julien, as long as this is still a topic of some debate between us, people may have a hard time getting behind you on things (like I did last game) when your cases on people (like me) are cluttered with garbage.

So far, dr cyanide, your defens of fifi amounts to: "Early cases are never right and never hit scum...it's ALWAYS a later one, the third or fourth..." Interesting defense.

Even if we only establish "relative" scuminess out of an early BW, isn't that still a good thing? I mean, we don't have to lynch one of the two or three people mainly involved. And later, if they are still around in the game and decisions really have to get made, you can say one person was scummier than the other coming out of a certain situation.

The only reason I don't just go ahead and switich my vote now is that I am still largely unsatisfied with fifi's response to this, and because if cyanide is scum and this whole early argument is between townies only, I don't know why he would try to snuff it.

Having played with Civil Scum twice, one as his scum buddy, the other as his fellow townie, I can say that he is very in your face offensive as town, to the extent that he actually can be offensive. His scum attitude is very backseat-ish and he tries to stay out of the lime light as much as possible. Excuse me if my meta is a bit outdated though.

As outlandish and wild as cyanide's backtracking-claims are right now, it's almsot too crazy not to believe, and I'd probably lynch Fifi before him right now. The part about him "calling me out", I mean it was so ridiculous that it is more believable as a ploy to gauge my reaction than it is to be taken seriously.



As for the lurkers thing, I've been wondering recently how the town would fare, percentage wise, if we simply lynched all non-contributing roles and trimmed the game down immediately. On top of which, I never lurk on any role and find it incredibly frustrating. I mean, people might get busy or have some crazy shit come up...but someone does...everygame, that eliminates their internet access for a week? 3 people this game? I would be fine lynching all of them and seeing what happens. On top of which, great everyone's more suspicious of the previous active player's now, a replacement comes in and agrees with things already said, posts twice, and everyone thinks they are fine. A major disadvantage to online games imo. Irl if someone's too quiet you can put them in the spotlight, and wait quietly...they can't say nothing forever or go to the bathroom for two weeks.
I'm also through giving any replacer slack on scummy things their predeccesor has done.

If the scummiest player was goign to get lynched, and got replaced, I would no longer give the slightest fuck about what they said, I would continue pursuing the lynch based on things the person they replaced had done.


The references to mine and julien's past game are over for now I think. They aren't that relevant in specifics. The meta we may each have has already been mentioned in any capacity that it will relate to this game.



And back to the lurkers thing. Sure, it's any easy stance for scum to take, but it's equally an easy attack for a scum to make on a town player.
