Just because something is common or uncommon is not a logical reason for something to be scummy or not scummy. There are things that are scummy that happen quite frequently, and things that are townish that are quite rare. Lurking, for example, is a frequent scum tactic. Likewise, having made an argument in a previous game does not make you less scummy in this game.

AGM and xRx, what do both of you rate the possibility of a kyle-Monkey-??? scumteam at this point?

I ask you two as you seem both seem to have opinions on Monkey as well as the other main wagons.

I'm not sure on Monkey. I seem to always end up thinking he's scum at some point in every game I've played with him, but that's wound up with scum-Monkey getting lynched at least twice (that's probably ~50% of the games I've played with him), so I'm not sure how to take it. Same goes for kyle.

That being said, I can't let the whole "you're always scummy" meta turn me away from what could be a very possible scum candidate. I'd rather lynch kyle still at this point. I don't think they're both scum.

Okay, my first thought after reading the past couple pages: we have to lynch one of Sakako, Monkey, and kyle today. The associative tells we gain by lynching one of them could very easily break the game open at this point (well, depending on how many lurkers are scum). There's been some very awkward vote hopping among those wagons, moreso than can be reasonably expected if there weren't at least one scum among that group and at least one scum jumping between wagons.

Kyle's play this game has been horrible, regardless of alignment. I'm currently thinking a lot of it can be pinned down to meta. (In my other game with him, someone referred to him (in reference to another game) as "lurk 'n hammer kyle" or something to that effect. That sounds very similar to his play here.)

Sakako seems to be happy with any vote that isn't on him. The bigger the wagon he's jumping onto, the better. This is self-preservation at its finest - he doesn't even seem concerned with whether or not the people he votes are scum. I still definitely feel he's our best lynch candidate.

I'd say about 80% sure. I played with him as scum, and from what I remember he lurked then too.

I mean, it's really hard to distinguish between his play in either game. I mostly support a kyle lynch for these reasons: 1) he's scummy anyway, 2) if we don't lynch him now and he's town, he's a mislynch later at a crucial point in the game, 3) if we don't lynch him now and he's scum, he'll be allowed to float on by for too long.

Basically, we lose little as town by lynching kyle. If someone can pick something else out from the games I've provided meta-wise, maybe I'll reconsider. But for now, kyle lynch > other lynches.
