Most of my reasons for voting for him have now been addressed...

unvote: massive

I too don't like it when people lurk and then leap out of the shadows to vote for someone with very little explanation. Couple that with the fact that I'm getting almost no scum vibes from Fishbulb, and it's easy for me to...

vote: Leonidas

that just random anyway.

umm, ok mole and Leonidas are cooberating, why did Leonidas get the unlucky glove then?

vote: Leonidas

more pressure on the bandwagon == more good.

Besides, looked kinda scummy to me.. maybe slightly not good tactic, but oh well.

Well, it's certainly not clear to me that Leo and mole are evil together. If they were, I doubt they would have chimed in so concordantly at the same time.

I suspect Leo independently of Mole, and lean toward thinking that if they're both evil, they're not evil together.

Dourgrim: I think that was exactly my point about mlaker, except, he/she did not even go so far as to cast a vote. This, in my view is more scummy.

Scummy ??

Mole's attack is valid (especially d) - and Massive does not seem so attractive a target to me at this stage.
This is day 1, and mole, at least, had a valid, articulated attack.
And I did not 'coming out from the shadows'; I joined the bandwagon that had most merit (and only one vote at the time).

If anything, I missed a weekend of play.

Okay, if it was such a valid, articulated attack, why would only you and Werebear join in? If it was so obvious, why wouldn't everyone vote for me? It's because it wasn't valid. I don't believe anyone would side with me if they had the least thought I was mafia, even if they were mafia themselves. If what you say is true, I'm a sinking ship. Who in their right mind would defend me in the slightest? Well, anyone who read my posts, it seems. If I get lynched, they won't have to worry one bit about being connected to me since I am not scum. And, the more some of you push the issue to lynch me, the more they will know who really is scum.

I understand what you mean about being away, so that's why I withheld my vote in the first place. I am waiting for more people to give their thoughts since it was just a gut feeling about you two.

Fishbulb, here's that list of charecters. There's 15 with pictures on that page (minus Mom, Son and Gramps), plus 20 or so listed only by name at the bottom of the page. I hesitated in posting it, becuase I figured it'd give scum a good resource to make up claims, but I just googled for it so they would have found it quickly anyway.

Okay, I had the ones with pictures on my list, but I find it highly unlikely that the characters at the bottom are in this. Mostly because those characters, while maybe mentioned by name, were never really characters in the movie. Does anyone even know who half of those characters are? With only 18 players in this game, I find it more likely that we have the 15 characters that were actually portrayed in the movie plus a few townies, rather then grabbing some unknown character that was mentioned in passing. Domingo Montoya is the only name I can remember explicitly mentioned in the movie... and that character is already dead. I'd like to see a poor scum try to grab a name off that list.

Now, possibly this is based more on the book. I have not read the book and it is likely there were more characters in it. For those of you that have read it, what are your thoughts?

Okay, I'll buy jadesmar's post. That's several seemingly innocuous and all-too-fitting posts mlaker's put in. I agree, JereIC, that putting up the list was a good idea.
Fishbulb wrote:I am waiting for more people to give their thoughts since it was just a gut feeling about you two.
I'm currently thinking that neither Fishbulb nor the Mole/Leonidas theories are all that great. None of the three of you are that supicious.

Several people are being awfully quiet: massive, CRiX, Sugar...

*sobs* an idea?

...

that'd be a new one from me. O.o

what happened to the bandwagon? I mean.. Ok, so he gave a response, but like I said, why was Leonidas getting all the attention, he was the second person to jump onto Fishbulb, not the person who started the argument. Ok, so mole started the stuff, yes? Let's look at what he said.. yay..

ok, well I just read the post a few times, and really don't see anything scummy there, so.. I'll look at the person whom the votes are on, yes? that sound good?

Ok, so Leonidas was jumped on for jumping the bandwagon after being inactive? He gave his reason for 'jumping on' (because of mole's post..) and then the reason for his inactivity.. guess that's another dead-end.. eh?

unvote: Leonidas
since that's dried up (in my opinion).

Ok, my idea? Right now, I dunno, I can't believe it's Day 1 still O.o

Taking a look at Werebear's list upa there, what sorta roles would these names have, do you think? Would they have comparable roles to things like the cop, doc, sk... I imagine the .. one guy (haven't seen it in too long :( ) who raises Westley would serve as the doctor.. Maybe Westly is the cop? or.. like.. something reasonably important like that?

I dunno..

Leonidas: I see your point. However, I still find lack of real reasoning behind a vote to be somewhat suspicious.

unvote: Leonidas

FoS: Leonidas

I have nothing further of any substance to add that would be worthy of a vote right now, so I won't bother casting one. At this point I'm debating just hopping on a bandwagon in order to get things moving a bit... *shrug*

As you wish. Except it might take a pot of coffee and an MLT (mutton lettuce and tomato sandwich) or two to get into "idea" mode. I FOSed Fletch and the Bear because they still doubted Someone, even though in my mind he was completely cleared, and that's all I had to go on at the moment. What I need to do is pore (I love doing that) over all 5 pages again and see if anything pops out.

Meanwhile, back to the regular townie plan... if there are others besides Someone and I, speak up with a clue (his was correct, by the way) to prove it only if you're in danger of being lynched. Does that sound like a plan?

Sorry, I got suspiciously quiet when I had two people unvote me to make me quit whining. Heaven forbid I ruin the game for others. ;-) And jadesmar - my first post (the one that's been so heavily critiqued with your response) made reference to the fact that mlaker was on vacation (MeMe mentioned it on the first page).
