That just leaves the rest of you. Not paying attention? Scum? Time will tell.

Good to go, huh? I think the day lasted long enough and even though I know I never put a case on Flareon, consider this: he's made some scumlicious posts and has otherwise been useless. Scum or a simple VI? This might put me on the chopping block, but as gamblers always say, there'll always be another game.

And just like that, the one code-named Flareonage was in the spotlight. A steady drip-drip-drip from the kitchen, which had hovered just on the outside of the group's consciousness since the ordeal began, seemed to grow louder, echoing the hammering heartbeats of each of the twelve. Flareonage had been pushed to the precipice, but would he be the first to fall?

Yes, you're about even now after that whole "Fate stfu and vote me!" stunt you tried to pull earlier.
mavsfan41, this is the part of the game where you buss hammer to get town points. Let's not waste any more time...Fate is absurdly beautiful. 運命に弄ばれる

This happens. It gets better, as you learn the more common scum tells. Though it helps to be more conservative with your vote. From what I've seen of your play, you change votes relatively frequently. That can make people suspicious if they don't like your reasoning (even though there's nothing necessarily anti-town about using your vote). So vote less, but with more argumentation.danakillsu wrote:You are the first person on this site to say so. Thanks much. Most seem to want to lynch me for no reason in every game. Might have something to do with my newbie playstyle.
Anyway, sorry I didn't check in for a bit. Still a fan of a Flareonage wagon. I also pretty much agree that there's not much sense in asking for a claim.-

Fate, why are you determined to get a quickhammer?
For that matter, why is Flareonage at L-1? (The latter question is directed at the people who are currently voting Flareonage.)
Still on mild V/LA, so don't expect too much posting from me. Just thought I'd drop by while I had time.ALMOST ALWAYS BUSY 9-6 CST WEEKDAYS-

Because we are convinced that he is scum. If you are essentially asking why we think he's scum, then I don't like that question, because it implies that we haven't already made a case, which we have. For that matter, why is Flareonage at L-1? Sainty, flareonage is one of those lynches where it's a win/win for town.
He's a terrible liability at lylo or later in the game as town, and, really, he's scummy as fook.
Tracker has the right of most of it, except flareonage's content has also been rather minimal.
Flare's posts have been his norm: badx2.
So, really, I've never played with him-scum, so I can't differentiate between town-scumminess and scum-scumminess from flare.don't you feel silly now?-

Hmm.
I would mind hammering Flareonage, even though Tracker still appeals a lot to me and I'm sort of angry that no one has even bothered to look at him. At first I was more convinced that Flareon's just a newbie-town whom scum are scapegoating for an easy wagon... But I pretty much agree with Ray's 163 a lot, especially that leaving him around will basically just allow him to skate through the game providing little/no content until we get doomed with him at lylo.
But first I want SaintKerrigan to respond to my Post 55.-

Whydoesit "feel off" to you?
Do you think Scum would more likely post a serious response than they would continue joking in order to prolong the RVS?
Looked newcomertownish in my eyes.
It feels strange to me that DKU seemed to take xReck's questions seriously. Call it gut. I also wanted to get some discussion going, so I decided to vote him for it.
I think you're asking me a WIFOM-loaded question. After all, if scum supposedly wish to prolong the RVS, wouldn't it make sense for them to actuallystuntthe RVS so they don't look like scum? I think you can see where this goes...
Meanwhile, xReck's behavior is displeasing me.Unvote: Danakillsu. Vote: xRECKONERx.We've got some time left before deadline, so I see no reason to hammer Flareonage at the moment.ALMOST ALWAYS BUSY 9-6 CST WEEKDAYS-

In most cases, I would argue that we should wait for a replacement before basing a true decision. However, with the mod's rules, no replacements are allowed - he would simply be modkilled if he doesn't post at all during Day 2. If he's really gone and not returning, there's no use losing two people tomorrow.Fate wrote:Also, I just replaced flareonage in another game... And then the final vote was cast. The final accusatory finger pointed. An awkward silence followed.
"So... now what?"
With the decision made, suddenly the realization of what they were about to do really dawned on them. A few got up and started wandering the area, a few stared at Flareonage, a few stared at the floor. Finally, one came back with coil of cable found in an old supply closet. The snap of a neck was heard a short time later.

The alarms startle everyone awake, and they rush back to the common area in some confusion. A quick headcount is take, and the thin hope that the bad guys would take the hint from yesterday quickly fades. It seems this thing is going to have to be seen until the bitter end.

Reporting in, also, have read the entire thread and my main suspect was Dana as Flare's scumbuddy...
He took his overall statement rather seriously (as if he wast trying to accomplish something), not the part that he wanted us to lynch him...then he gets very defensive on Saint Kerrigan("Absolutely not. I did not treat him seriously...") ...so he is either a noob or scum dealing the noob card...it is proven by the date he joined (Dec. 2007) that he is not in fact a noob and should know the role of a jester since its speculated in like every open gameThis seems really strange to me. There are a few possibilities here:
1)He actually wants us to lynch him. This could mean:
a)He doesn't want to play this game. Seems very unlikely
b)He wants the other side to win. Also unlikely
c)He has a role that wins if it is lynched. Is there such a thing?
2)He doesn't want us to lynch him.
a)Reverse Psychology. A little blatant for that.
b)He wants to confuse us. I find this most likely.
I find 1c a scary possibility, and the second most likely possibility if there is such a role.
Proven scum, Flareonage, goes off and defends him...
They both vote the same...Unvote
VOTE: SaintKerrigan
Dana brought up valid points thus your vote is pointless
Then he goes and lurks for about 4 days I believe...Third Votecount of Day 1
1. yawetag (1): xRECKONERx
2. The Tracker (1): Shrinehme
3. cdubs (1): cdubs
4. flareonage (0):
5. SaintKerrigan (1): evilsnail
6. danakillsu (2): SaintKerrigan, RayFrost
7. RayFrost (0):
8. mavsfan41 (0):
9. xRECKONERx (2): danakillsu, Flareonage
10. Shrinehme (1): Fate
11. evilsnail (0):
12. Fate (0):
Then he posts this...
Wait, so you are saying that you weren't being serious in your whole post and you admit that REX wasn't being serious??? This is a contradiction because before you implied that your post was serious and that you took Rex's post pretty seriously...Mainly, I want to say before going back and reading it through, that anyone whose vote is still on me needs to ask themselves how much more serious I was in my post than xRECKONERx was in his post.
Ahh...so the truth comes out...
You admit that you act noobish even though you aren't...okMight have something to do with my newbie playstyle.
Though this post is all over the place, I hope you get the points i made...ShowYou can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.

Now I realize He's dead but I wanted to respond to this. I feel a mason fake claim with three masons is very ballsy because you now have a voting block of three against you, and since its dagnerous to fake claim a mason who is about to be lynched should claim.A single mason should not claim if we are about to lynch them.
Unless we've already mislynched one.
However that is moot now that one mason is gone. That being said if you are a mason under fire I do think its good to come out but be wary of implicating your partner.
As for who is and isn't guilty. Im not sold onDKUbeing flare's scum partner, but that being said I do think pretending to be a noob when in fact not a noob is highly suspicious. I think it more likely that DKU is part of the other scum faction
Another thing I would like to point out istracker'spost of
