I completely agree. In a game like this, me not having a vote on me at any given time is inexcusable. Or at least uncharacteristic.

I dont think quickvoting at this point is scummy. Anything resembling a L-1 vote is unacceptable, but L-2 is fine. It's still the best way to get information.

I'll also say now that one player here is gonna get a special surprise bitchslap from me at the end of the game for complete stupidity. So stay tuned...

BM, you are not the only one who would like to know how many of these players are my alts. I think everyone has multiple personalities, so when they're asleep as one person, they;re awake as another person. This makes me wonder where there are actually such things as other countries or are we actually just waking up as another person at a different hour.

I think it's slightly scummy that BM confirmed his vote on CSL without hearing anything of content from him first. It's illogical to say that he was active lurking considering how early we are into the game.

Hmm... I see now that I misspoke. I have never played with Haylen before. I have read many of her games though. I prefer to read games blind and see what I can find without knowing the roles before hand. I never was able to get a scum or anti-town read on Haylen. Well, that’s not quite true, a few times when she was town I thought she might be scum. Still, usually whether she was town, or scum, or SK, I thought she was just plain town. I told her that in a private message when I first joined.

We've talked a bit since then and she pointed out this game to me. So, this is our first game together.

I'm actually inclined to believe that SK is telling the truth with regards to the OMGUS argument. There was been a lot of debate of what is OMGUS, and I know a lot of newbish players who have been taught that it's the action that matters not the intent. And it is clear when I asked him what an OMGUS was that he's been taught it's a vote, which isn't logical.

If there's one thing that Incog has taught me it's that we always need to be on the look out for illogical townies who believe what they are saying, when in actual fact they are wrong.

Wrong. I quoted selectively in order to emphasise my point, because in reading the whole thing, as i presumed (incorrectly?) you had done, you had failed to comprehend how it was OMGUS, or at least how i interpretted it as OMGUS. I was attempting to help you, rather than to mislead anyone.

My issue with you atm, is really that you keep making these woolly remarks, and then following them up with "I find this scummy" or similar, as if that is a satisfactory explanation, in and of itself. Moreover, it gives me the impression you are keen to "blow smoke" or "throw mud" or whatever you choose to call it, which is rarely conducive to good townsmanship, and is more frequently used by scum to fuel a mislynch.

That's your interpretation, and i guess OMGUS is always a matter of opinion. Your opinion is wrong, but you are of course welcome to maintain it.

My defence:
There is no reason for me to falsely accuse someone of OMGUS in this scenario for the following reasons:

A. Me lying assumes i am scum.
B. If i was scum, i would only lie when it benefitted me.
C. The only benefit for falsely accusing someone of OMGUS would be to get them lynched.

Now:

D. OMGUS is NOT a scumtell. Therefore your contingency is the equivalent of me claiming the sky is made of pizza. A lie that achieves nothing.
E. It was Day 1, Page 1 of the game. No lynch should be happening any time soon.
F. In the same post i make the accusation, i take my vote OFF CSL. This should be a fairly clear indication i was not attempting to attack him, merely commenting

factually

on his vote. You could even call IIoA if you want.

The difference here is, whilst OMGUS is not a scumtell, falsely accusing someone (therefore, lying) IS. With your criticism of me, you are accusing me of something that is actually scummy, and therefore, could get me lynched, and definitely constitutes mud-slinging.

It is scummy that you are trying to suggest i am scummy when i am not.

I know the above looks a bit convoluted, but it's really quite simple. My behaviour towards CSL has no discernible scum motive, whereas your approach to me can be considered scummy.

And i find it incredibly amusing that you dont want to vote for me, despite constantly trying to argue my play is scummy. It's the DEFINITION of blowing smoke.
