This time, everyone is hand-drawn in cartoon land, glancing at each other from opposite ends of a 4-way street. Starbuck's skin is blue, Devestation's voice is squeaky and Raivann's eye are bugged out -- he's not on drugs. Being animated sure does make everyone livelier than before... All but one player, that is; lying in the middle of the street like roadkill.

Right now, I think Amished and I are about as close to confirmed as a player can get without a cop investigation.

I wasn't sure what the protocol would be for claiming doublevoter, and there was a mix up regarding my role PM with the mod that I wanted to clear up first. Now that it's resolved though, I can claim.

Amished is the only one from memory who was completely down for the Hell lynch from the start. He's town.

What was the previous problem with your roll Reckoner? Also, what did you think the benefit of keeping it hidden was?

I need to do some rereading before I decide who is Hell's most likely buddy.

Well, originally, the mod said I could privately PM him and vote. So I thought it'd be worth it. However, he revealed after I voted that after discussion with others, I have to double vote in-thread. So since I can't use my power without revealing myself anyway, I figured I can claim now. Plus, I didn't have TIME to claim before the day ended last time.

The only time I've seen a double voter was Starbuck (scum) in Tar's LotA game; though I don't see why a scum double voter would use it to hammer his buddy.

The name that comes up first from memory of trying to slow down the wagon was Raiv.

@Kise: I'm feeling better now; 50% of my time spent sleeping seems to help with being sick, thanks for announcing that for me.

@Star; xRx: The only way you can possibly say that I or VP scum is if we are either part of a 2nd scum group (AFAIK I'm the only mod crazy enough to pull that in a mini-normal) or if we wanted to uberbuss partner Hell on D1. When you believe that either of those are likely, you're free to waste your time on us.

Well, after looking back; I'll have to take my "don't see a voter lynching a buddy" back. Pg. 8, after the vanilla claim xRx immediately unvoted. I knew that was weird for a reason; unvoting for any claim from scum (especially an unconvincing claim) is a huge scumtell in my book. There really was no way that the wagon was gonna be derailed so I could see him hammering to look better/"take the edge off" (so to speak) even being a double voter.

I'm a Town Doublevoter. I mean, I don't know how I can convince you, especially since I used my double vote to hammer my scum buddy. If you expect me to buy you and VPB as nearly-confirmed-town, you have to think that my two votes (equivalent of you and VPB's two votes) on a scumbuddy have the same effect. Had I just voted him, okay... but throwing on a second vote?

How else would scum try to assuage the "meta" of a double voter being scum? Jumping in on the end of a gonna be lynched scumbuddy seems like a great way to do that. Just look at your differing reactions at the two timeframes: Hell claims VT; you instantly unvote. We all don't believe it (rightfully so) so when there really is no way that the wagon was gonna turn around.

Hammering is a null-tell; really no matter who is being hammered. You being a double voter; coupled with your initial reaction to the claim and switch when it was inevitable that he was gonna be lynched is why I think you're scum and why I'm voting you.

Putting on a second vote is hard to understand from either alignment. Town you'd see that he's getting lynched anyways so by double-voting you're giving scum more information that's out there as they would know if they have a double-voter or not (and if they used it). You can't even play like a miller (which would be the obvious parallel, something that I would've claimed immediately in the day) as your avenue of playing so pro-town to draw a night-kill wastes a town power.

As scum it makes slightly more sense as putting out the information early and hammering a scumbuddy so that you don't look as suspicious for doing it would seem like a good idea. It also explains why you would be hesitant to claim your ability first-post style (a la miller).

Also, it's not *just* the fact that we voted him, we didn't believe him from the get go (when there was ample opportunity to dissuade it with you unvoting and Raskol saying that he looked like a newbie and all that). We never wavered in our stance cause we both saw the same scumtell and drove it home until Hell was lynched.

That, and let's just say I'm comfortable in my meta of VP.

I don't feel that we were in RVS, but it's a fault of mine that I give benefit of the doubt to those who just entered the game while were still in the first 5 pages.

And I don't assume I know your agenda. But your posts indicated you were in fact givin him the 'benefit of the doubt' which I view as a free pass.

I've seen it happen on more than one occasion. I don't like your suggestion that a situation like that never could happen.

Not sure what you want me to say to this. I just find it weird that a person would ever post something without reading anything. But as I said before "All games I've gone into have been either RQS or very little RVS."

That's actually partially serious. My meta of Starbuck tells me she is scum this game, and I'd like to not really reveal what that meta is because then she'll play against it. Let's just say... there's a pretty blatant difference between town-Starbuck in every other game I've played with her and scum-Starbuck.

If you want to figure out what that meta is for yourself, read some of her games as town.

Clarify the bolded please. Are you saying the mod changed the mechanics of your role mid game, or that at first you didn't know what your role did?

I'm saying the mod made a minor change in my role between when the role PM was sent out and the end of D1 when I used the double vote.
