Oh, and Glork, another thing: I'm only choosing to assume that Ellibereth is still angry at me because his actions make no sense otherwise. He came into this game swinging at me to the fences for little-to-no reason. The only thing that I could think of was that he was still mad at me. I don't think it's that unreasonable of a position. Perhaps I'm wrong. I really hope that I am. But in the absence of a logical explanation to the contrary, I'm forced to accept the only answer that seems logical to me.

I suppose that's fair enough. But I think you're putting too much faith into logic. I'm not going to say that we're playing with the Joker or anything, but people do irrational things all the time. Seeking to find a logical explanation for human behavior is rather naive.

I probably do put too much stock in logic, but I find it's the only way that I can work. Usually, it works out for me. I really wouldn't know how the game would look if played in any other fashion...

So far, I feel a lot of this Day 1 has been filled with accusations over theory crap and hasn't done a whole lot towards actual scumhunting. So please, can we cut the crap and get to some more serious stuff?

Netopalis may have a little internal inconsistency regarding the RVS, but as far as I can tell that's all we've really got on him. The rest of it is theory mumbo jumbo that shouldn't have shown up in the first place. Hardly evidence I would lynch someone over. Although I would ask him: what's wrong with parroting other people's arguments, as long as I agree with them and/or add additional content to them?

Netlava could do with some more content, but he's finally managed to point out something that I like: Haylen's lack of content posts. Sure, I can appreciate jokes as well as anyone, but we've gotten into the serious stage of the game. Comments on issues at hand are highly appreciated--and highly lacking from Haylen atm. Haylen, would you mind posting more content? Because I'm tempted to move my vote off of Netlava and onto you.

My original vote on Gayle was for not commenting on anything in two posts. His 3rd was just a direct (sarcastic) reaction to my vote, nothing else. I just get scummy vibes from him.

Given your inability to attend to the details of this game so far, I don't really think your judgement can be trusted. You need to read and follow the game if you are going to post so much about it.

Two questions for KMD: Going back to your early "four solid reads on Page 2" thing, I'm once again curious about your flip-flop on Mae. Your initial post was on Post 36. You had changed your mind regarding Mae by Post 60.

1) What caused that initial, misguided scum interpretation?
2) What caused you to change your mind about Mae?

I forgot to say this about Elli earlier, so I'll say it now: the playstyle he's using isn't that much of a tell. He's used it in both games I've played with him, one in which he was town, and one in which he was scum. I don't think his playstyle really tells much about whether he's scum or not.

Didn't his very first post actually discourage bandwagoning in general? That's how I interpretted it. Maybe we have different feelings about how to take that, but I don't really like it at all.

Yeah, I find gloating to be a pretty good tell, scum bragging to town and such. In her case it's not very clear though, but the post doesn't really give me a good feeling.
