You've missed my point.

A jailer would not be concerned about a watcher, since jailing makes Cobalt immune to a watcher's ability.

Only a Roleblocker would be concerned about a watcher

Seacore, jailing role-blocks the target, not people who target the target. you'd still see a jailer target me.

Farside's 1168 is very good.
Also note the day-talk slips by both DGB and EK. Xyl-scum was also the one who originally noticed this link.

vote DGB

I can't see the Chamber case. Not helpful but not scummy.
I still dislike BC but I've kind-of forgotten why :P. Going to reread and make sure I'm not mixing feelings from another game.

The Day's been going for less than 3 hours, we'll be at least waiting for everybody to post. I'm hoping a tracker is out there (I knew I should have picked tracker)

Actually. What do people think of a Vanilla townie who picked tracker as their option claiming that they did so? So we know if there's one out there.
Also, what do people think of Dramonic declaring what he chose?

^ bad idea.
Tracker basically = cop at this stage.

Could someone point out where Chamber claimed?

I don't think we should start bringing out role info today. By tomorrow morning there will be a max of 4 dead. We might want to start thinking about massclaim then.

Chamber claimed 1171

Roles that are bad for scum to have around

Watcher,
Tracker,
Vig

So they've already got two kills to choose from.
Knowing that there's a tracker in the game but not who it is could help.

For example, if Farside is vanilla and chose Tracker, there's 6 people the tracker could be, not great info for the scum (considering they can only maybe eliminate one more) but good info for us.

I'm not pushing for it, I'm just better phrasing my thought.

I doubt a Town Jailer is going to protect Cobalt or Myself tonight, so I assume at least one of us will die (I think best case scenario is that both scum target the same one).

The scum are even worse off than that, Seacore. They each have to worry about 4 roles:
Vig
Watcher
Tracker
Opposing scum
If any of these roles targets a scum, that scum loses.
Their best bet is to kill opposing scum, because that way they actually eliminate a faction. Killing me is probably not good play- it would confirm me as town and with you watching me, they'd be doomed. Killing Seacore still leaves them open to 2 killing roles and the tracker. So they have to aim for the other scum. Therefore we want to minimize role info but maximize scum hunting, to help the scum find each other.

Actually, with your post I now think I'm definitely dead.

They leave you and opposing scum alive because they hope the town will be killed as soon as possible.
But they kill me because I'm not only confirmed information role.

It's been nice knowing you all.

Nope. If they kill you, they face 2 kills and a tracker. They really have to kill either me or the other scum. And the beauty of it is, they can't coordinate in-thread. There's no way for one to know who the other will kill. So not only does each scum have to find the other, he also has to guess who the other will kill. Plus we still might have a jailer- he could protect either of us at the cost of us losing the use of our roles.

it does? I always assumed at least when I mod the watcher see's who targeted a player unless he was RB or jailed himself.

mmmm since the doc is dead even though jailing you would me no info for the town I would support a jailer doing this just to have you around a bit longer
Or use this post as WIFOM if there is a townie jailer and let the scum rethink themselves over and over again.

I love giving the mafia WIFOM on night kills.

DAMMIT THE PACE OF THIS GAME IS RIDICULOUS

The number of posts I have in this game looks quite bad, so I'll explain a bit. My posting frequency is more or less 1 PPD per game, partly due to laziness, unexpected events, living on the other side of the world, and preferring to make one post that addresses lots of things instead of many posts that address very little (e.g. Cobalt). Hopefully my word count looks better than my post count.

Goofy's posts are still filled with questionable logic and epic contradictions BUT she doesn't fit with any of the known
scumgroups
(unless someone can show me meta that points towards motivation for campaigning for the lynch of her cop scumbuddy), so I don't think she's scum. IT'S ALRIGHT GOOFY YOU ARE EXONERATED.

Chamber, meeeh, he wasn't near the top of my list of suspects TBH, but I see what Cobalt is saying. Though if fewer posts than pages is a scumtell then I'm severely even more guilty of that, and his suspicions (Elvis, Blood) are not bad at all. That said, his voting record does fit with Mafia A and there is a lack of sincerity in his play, so I'd at least be willing to vote him.

Farside's voting record fits with Mafia B (not Mafia A as Goofy speculates, I don't think her campaign to lynch Devo was a bus), but she had this little argument with Elvis a while back, and unless that was staged beforehand (I mean, asking "why did you investigate Tony" when she already knows), my gut tells me she's not scum with Mafia B either.

My main suspect for the last Mafia A is Blood (Goofy's expectations of scum bussing each other are too high IMO). My main suspect for the last Mafia B is Tony (polar attitudes with regard to Elvis and Coug wagons, was the target of Elvis' 'invesigation' out of the blue). Other suspicious people include Fishy (being fishy during the Elvis affair *BA-DUM TISH*), Death (Pom's wagonhopping was stand-out), and to a lesser extent Benmage (this guy is like Xyl the second). Seacore is not scum (was wagoned by Elvis early on), Dram is probably not scum (wagoned Elvis and was attacked by Devo) and I don't get the Budja hate at all.

Vote: BloodCovenent
. That's my long-overdue preferred lynch today.

ALSO I KNOW THEY TEACH YOU IN SCHOOL THAT THERE ARE 24 HOURS IN A DAY BUT I THINK WE CAN HAVE MORE THAN THAT IN A GAME OF MAFIA GUYS

Um, I have some info now that I didn't have before and I'm not sure how to use it. I'll probably get blasted for this, but I'll do it anyway.

There are two possibilities

1) We have a tracker (and I know who it is)
or
2) I have found a scum

hmmm...
I'd say out with it. If it's a tracker, we can test the claim with vanillas, and then the scum have some amazing amounts of WIFOM to deal with. If it's scum they die.
