RayFrost: Yeah, busyness + never having really got a full hold on this freaking huge seventy-odd page game has kinda hurt. I did think about it and do a little reading up during Night 1 when I had a few minutes and reconsidered my position on Hayker somewhat.

But that's all in the past, because I certainly now have something to catch my attention and hopefully my whole self &c. this game. Happy days are here again and all that.

EDIT: Um, yeah if Iec has a spare daykill that probably works, too: it'd be like getting a free Day; I disagree with Cobalt on the Tempo thing. We'll be plenty upbeat about hunting if we get a scumbag daykilled, I think. Either way, SSK, say your prayers, last goodbyes, whatever.

Yeah, the role is sketchy and has the potential to hurt the Town. Some roles are like that. In either case we have at worst a one-for-one town/scum trade going down here. If SSK is Town, Cobalt dies. If he's scum Cobalt is less suspect but not fully cleared, and as the game goes on we can always reevaluate him if the situation calls for it. Yeah, they could be buddies, and the bussing claim from SSK is certainly relevant. Right now the optimal play is still to lynch SSK. Or shoot him. Whatever.

Unless Cobalt claims that SSK is kill-proof, I think I should shoot SSK. Either way, we shouldn't lynch him until people have a chance to decide. If we intend to kill SSK and cannot shoot him, I think we should perhaps shoot someone else first.

UK, DN is anti-town, but that is his meta. Also, assuming you're citing his premature claim, I see no scum basis for his behavior. I describe SC's meta in a later post. WFH's vote is only gone for today. I think the answer to everything else is probably "yes."

I think there's more to discuss before I shoot either Cobalt or SSK. So don't worry about that. Anyone who quicklynches SSK should be viewed extremely critically D3. He's L-2 right now; maybe we should even put a moratorium on real SSK votes.

SC, do you think that Cobalt is lying about having responsibility for the flavor, that he is lying about the function of his ability, (and/)or something else?

Well there are a few options that are possible.

1. He could be making up that specific power but has the ability to make the mod say something, which means he is scumbuddies with him, thus the slip
2. If that is his power, which it could possibly be, any time "telling the truth" = "dead" does not make the slightest bit of sense to me as a town role. I know there are anti-town roles out there, but that's just... well, insane.

There is no reason to hold back on your kill now Iec.

1. SSK is town. We lynch Cobalt scum, end the day with one scum less.

2. SSK is mafia. We are guaranteed to end the day with one scum less, and possibly two. Even if SSK flips scum (very likely), I still wouldn't rule out Cobalt scum btw.

It's a win-win. I highly doubt we'll get anything else out of SSK anyway.
