So, since the logic you presented (that Vaya wanting SB to claim was scummy) didn't match your vote, your vote looked like an OMGUS vote, but I wanted to give you a chance to demonstrate otherwise.Vaya wrote:I don't know, I'm really not particularly feeling scum from Josh right now. If I had to make a guess if he were scum, I would think that at least one of his buddies are busing him, as I usually see happen when scum is wagoned like this.I'd guess that this would most likely be SocioPath.

I asked you because I didn't (and don't) understand what differentiates Vaya wanting SB to claim from Glock or UK wanting him to claim. The most salient feature IMO is that Vaya said you might be scum with JL:-

There weren't any previous posts. What's your point? We have already established that that is null.
It's not as if Vaya posted a half-baked comeback post. He addressed the current issue (SB), an attack against him (lurking), and the issue he missed (JL). Is there something I've forgotten about that he failed to address?-

As I mentioned before, I hadn't been posting anywhere on site the past few days up until yesterday. A quick glance at my posting history would show this. It doesn't have anything to do with this game or my alignment here, you can't honestly use that alone as a point for me being scum here.SocioPath wrote:

I still want her to claim everything related to this alignment changing ability of her's. Flavor, rolename and any other details about it there might be.
I'm honestly just not sure at the moment, hence why I haven't thrown out a vote yet.Fishythefish wrote: @Vaya: who is scum?-

I think that SocioPath made a bigger deal out of Vaya's "first line of his first post" than any reasonble person should. Vaya came into the thread and started talking about the most relevant current discussion topic. How is that a bad thing, exactly?
I also think that his reaction to Iecerint's response is completely ridiculous. Socio has yet to explain why "first line of first post" is in any way significant. Additionally, if he did "smell defensive buddyment," what's the significance of switching from one scumbuddy to the other? I don't like the vote-hopping, knee-jerk reaction. It's clearly hyperaggresive, which feels a bit insincere to me.-

I agree with this.
Also, I like how Vaya waits for Glork's support before she votes SP, despite there being nothing from SP between her own voteless post and her SP vote.
I also agree with this.Actually, I'm agreeing with Glork here, about SP's reaction to my and Iec's comments seeming overblown and insincere.
Quite a quandry, no?
I'm not really sure what I'd like to do here. I won't get any feedback from Josh til Monday, and I'm content to wait for that unless something crazy happens on either SPs or Vaya's part. I'm unimpressed with either at this time, reasons mostly covered by everyone else :S."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

The basis of my claim that Vaya's lurking Wednesday and Thursday was null is indeed with Vaya has indicated. If you take a break from the entire site for a few days, that has nothing to do with your alignment in any existing games. That was why I didn't get too excited about SP's "case" on Vaya.
On the other hand, I am very disappointed that Vaya didn't vote someone in his return post. There had been plenty of issues to weigh-in on up to that point; his failure to vote someone based on any of that looks a little scummy IMO. Coming in a few hours later to vote the player steam seems to be gathering around doesn't help much, either.-

Really Almaster? I hope you're not serious, because its a pretty stupid point he's pushing and I don't see how anyone could sincerely find it agreeable. Please, what's scummy about wanting someone to elaborate on a role they've already claimed? What does it matter if it was the first line of my first post?AlmasterGM wrote:Actually, I'm agreeing with SocioPath here, about Vaya's first post.
Really, SP's votes and attacks here seem to be a case of scum jumping at something that looks bad, but isn't actually scummy if you actually give it any consideration, as a townie who's actually trying to figure out who's actually scum would.
What's the problem here? I feel Glork made a good point about SP, which after he mentioned it, made me think it over and come to agree with him.UncertainKitten wrote:

Meh, fair enough point here though, about me not throwing out a vote in my first post. Nothing really jumped out at me as scummy at the time of my return post, so I really didn't feel that I could throw out a real vote that I could back up at the time. I decide to simply hold off on voting for a few posts until I noticed something that seemed scummy.Iecerint wrote:On the other hand, I am very disappointed that Vaya didn't vote someone in his return post. It was a point you should have been most sensitive to. It seemed you were waiting to see if you could get away with that. It's not an amazingly negative point or I'd be voting you. I just see GMs latter point. I think SP is being too reactionary though.

...SSK...I've heard you can be a useful protown player. I understand that people sometimes give you a hard time due to your meta. So, I'll ask nicely. Is there anything else you currently think with regards to this game? Perhaps an opinion on Snow Bunny's claim, Josh's responses to my pressures...really, anything is good. As far as I remember, this is all you've given so far.
I'm taking SP's side. Clearly Vaya is scum.
Actually, if you could elaborate on why SP has the right of the situation, I'd also appreciate it. Thank you ^-^."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

The only remotely scummy thing Vaya has done is the delayed SP vote, and even that's a stretch. I'd vote SP, except that I don't want JL to get off the hook due to V/LA. <_<
Would also like to hear SSK explain why SP isn't full of crap.
