Official Vote Count

Players needed to lynch: 12

BloodCovenent
- 2 - Pomegranate, Seacore - (L-10)
budja
- 3 - SerialClergyman, Vi, BloodCovenent - (L-9)
Cobalt
- 1 - elvis_knits - (L-11)
Dramonic
- 4 - devotress, budja, StrangerCoug, drippinggoofball - (L-8)
drippinggoofball
- 3 - Cruciare, Faraday, Xylthixlm - (L-9)
elvis_knits
- 2 - Dramonic, chamber - (L-10)
Seacore
- 3 - TonyMontana, Farside22, FishytheFish - (L-9)
Vi
- 1 - Cobalt - (L-11)

Players not voting: Benmage, Plum, Vaya

Note: Where it says "Players Needed to Lynch" just assume it means "Votes Needed to Lynch" - I know I'll forget to change that.

I'm not voting you defensively. I'm voting you because you were on the elvis wagon and now on mine. Pressuring the top two draftees has a scum motive but not a town motive.

Never mind that I never jumped onto your wagon ^___^

Similarly, never mind that I had solid reasons for voting e_knits (first vote!) and putting this case on you (would-be second vote!)

get it that was my cobalt impression.
Seroiusly though, the minimalist posts are killing me here, i'm left to assume your reason for most actions. Above, all you said was "Omgus vi", because you didn't say anything about why vi might be scummy.

Yes. Are you suggesting that we should not
*wagon
*suspect
*otherwise pressure
people who are high on the draft order?
Not at all - but I don't people to say "oh shucks I didn't notice!" That's why I am asking whether they are AWARE.

After we have gone after #2 to the claim, now some people are pushing for #1. Just making sure it's all clear.
I just realized I was so busy waiting for the inevitable Cobalt vote that I forgot to respond to this.

I don't care about the draft order. I remember Cobalt was #1, I was #3, and dramonic was last; and I haven't looked back. e_knits being #2 came as a surprise tbh, but I don't regret the wagon. I'm pressuring the people I find scummy, just like with any other game.

Absolutely. There is no contradiction.
Even your eggnog-filled brain should be able to predict the result of arguing that voting people high in the order is a scumtell.

I definitely don't think draft no.1 is one for today. I do think Cobalt is likely scum (and agree that SK is likely - in which case comisserations to Cobalt for being drafted first), but not so certain that he's worth lynching today.

What's the opposite of a warm fuzzy feeling? A cold smooth finish feeling?

That's what I'm feeling for elvis. She's not her usual feisty self, it's as it she's in IRC mode. Never seen that before. I can see a cop or doctor doing that to avoid attention, but now that her claim is out, why continue being so uncharacteristically low-key?

Also, Xyl feels more shifty than usual.

I'm liking Vi.

Either way, I'm not sure how much of a loss it would be. But I agree it would be better for Cobalt to not die today.

Okay, derail over, commence lynching Budja/Coug/Xylthixlm/Devotress/Vaya/maybe SerialClergyman and BloodCovenant/etc.
There are a lot of great targets; please lynch one of them instead of the likely Townies.

That is a most excellent list. I'm not seeing Vaya-scum here, but I am not getting townie vibes from anyone else in that accursed group.

These are not really the right reasons to vote cobalt though.

If we don't kill cobalt, devotress would be good.

Why don't you think I'm scum Goofball? I really haven't done anything yet.

I disagree with about half of Vi's list there(Budja, Vaya, SC, maybe Coug), though I really agree with the other few. And of those, and all the players here, Devotress is the scummiest in my eyes. I'd also support a Blood, Xyl, or Cobalt wagon if they start to grow.

Vote: Devotress

I really disagree with the mindset that we shouldn't lynch Cobalt yet because he's at the top of the draft. If he's scum, and picked the role I'd expect him to pick as scum, I'd prefer to lynch him sooner rather than later. And he is reading scum to me right now. I'd happily vote him if I didn't feel most of the town disagrees with me here, and if I expected him to actually be a potential lynch today.

I've just played a game with you where you were town. You seem alright so far.

So, here we go, no one can use the excuse that Xyl doesn't have a wagon yet to fail to vote him.

I'd be more active if the game were slow enough for me to keep up. It just happens that the most active parts of the game are when I'm asleep or working. I'm not denying what you're saying, and it's not normal for me to be relatively inactive like this, but I don't think the accusation's very fair. I have to know what's gone on in 18 pages with the limited chances I've had to look at this.

Seeing as the cop can't detect the SK in this game, I beg to differ. SK can pick cop, produce truthful results, and not worry too much about a lynch. It's an effective safeclaim and encourages the SK to scumhunt.

Devotress feels town to me.
