Because it gives us a better chance to actually evaluate the believability of the role, potentially seeing if it matches up with our own role names. Your lack of information seems designed to try and avoid this type of comparison which is scummy, and deserves to make you die. It's easy to come up with a crazy power in a bastard mod setup. It's much harder to know what role name to put with it.

If you're town, then it is your fault. You've done little to change opinions. Just because you say you're scum hunting doesn't make it so.

But I don't think you're town or else you would have come right out and given us a full claim rather than a half claim.

Huh. Orto's behavior reminds me of another caught scum in a previous game that has ended. To the end she insisted she was town and got rather irritated at people for calling her scum.

I know you can't really use meta like that (for two different people, yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah), but I think it's a similar phenomenon here. He'll just fight to the end until someone hammers him.

This...rubs me the wrong way. It feels both like "Hey, this is too easy, let's look elsewhere. Um...but wait, I HAVE found scum by lynching the scum in front of me before". It's basically leaving your options open in a big way, like you are pre emptively justifying a planned arbitrary switch.
