Ding ding ding. We have a winner. There's a piece of paper on my office desk that can attest to this :p
Indeed. For anyone who is wondering, in the unlikely event that we all rolled dice to pick our draft pick, we can expect 11.258 power roles. The last person on the list had an 18.6% chance of being a PR; at 15th, I had a 30.1% chance. The actual chance of all roles being used is 4.4%.

Anyway, on the actual game. I agree that claiming vanilla was unwise for Dramonic, but I'd bet he was town.

BloodCovenant, on the other hand, is scum:

His second post is quibbling other wording rather than explaining lack of vote. He proceeds to attempt to use three people voting in a row as a scumtell - and, worse, to get others to use it as such. For me, this is fairly obviously a nonsense - why would this be indicative of alignment? He goes after Vi for admitting a pressure vote on Seacore, but after a very predictable response ("Seacore looked town"), he says "but you still ping'd my gut" and leaves well alone. That's no good for me - Vi didn't ping his gut, she did something specific and scummy.

unvote, vote: BloodCovenant

We already know the scumteams are two groups of three plus an SK. There is no "large scumteam".
And you feel a member of said smaller scumteams would be more likely to forget that the scumteams in this game were small?
What do you think about DGB's assumption that the scum are talking?
Well, were they talking? If I'm assuming that they are, WRONGLY, what does it mean? If I'm correct, maybe I read the rules? OK unlikely, I never read rules and I didn't this time either). If I'm CORRECT (without having read the rules, admittedly!), maybe TonyMontana gave himself away

Are you assuming that I'm assuming rightly, or wrongly, Xyl? Because regardless of the answer, it means that YOU know something I don't. Get it? Disingenuous.

What makes you think the vig is going to kill at random? If anybody's going to be killing at random, it's the SK.

The claiming discussion on page 3 has its good parts and his bad parts. I agree that we don't need a massclaim, just worry about those anti-town roles. Bulletproof and bomb claims help the scum since they end up knowing who not to kill, so I agree with that. It goes downhill on page 4, though. In fact,
vote Seacore.
We don't need a mass VT claim.

I didn't see it in the rules either if scum can daytalk, but I have been in games before where DGB assumes the scum can daytalk whether she has reason to or not. She likes to tell people to go back to their QT, among other things. I'm thinking of the famed "lynch all lurkers" game, and perhaps others.
Talk nerdy to me.

@farside: So I'm scum for calling Seacore scum for the same thing you saw.
Really?

Are you in this game to lynch Seacore, or are you here to parse whether Seacore is scum?

While I don't agree with FtF's reason for voting BloodCovenant in 176, it would be worth my while to make a judgment on him. Please hold...

Xyl is dodging my absolutely serious question about Plum and Vaya.

Coug's posts are as terrible as farside's, not least of which because he's voting Seacore as well. To answer the specific question, though--

Examples from games that I can remember:

Quick and Dirty - Xyl was scum

Newbie 734 - I was scum in that game - Note, I that was my first game, and i didn't know someone else was going vote right after me.

I'm just saying fishy, it's plausible. I can't find any more examples, I know it happened in an ongoing game on my alt, but the game's not finished, so I don't know. I've seen it a few times, and for the most part there is usually scum in those types of successions. I just couldn't find any more examples off the top of my head.

As for asking Xyl, i was trying to see if he remembered Quick and Dirty. And if any other games he had played in, the same thing occurred.

You pretty much did the same thing yourself.

Farside's 172 makes me twitch. Scum, probably. Says seacore repeated stuff in 154, which is ironic since she's doing mostly the same here and what 'new stuff' is being brought isn't terribly good.

Seacore - 5 - Pomegranate, elvis_knits, devotress, TonyMontana, Farside22 - (L-7)

^Town read on Seacore + Don't particularly like any of these, (TonyMontana probably looks the best) = bad wagon.

Devotress, Pom and Farside looks scummy while elvis doesn't look town, which is unusual as she's usually a beaming signal of townieness.
