The vote wasn't serious anyway.

Also, it's "lieu", the French word for "place".

I go to bed, go to work, come back, and I have to read six pages? Is the activity level off the wall or is this my first large game in awhile?

I've committed a slip as scum before, so I don't think it's bad to keep an eye on Budja and Fishythefish. Budja
DOES
have a defense in both having aquatics-related names, though.

Cobalt wrote:Vi is wrong. Assuming random shots, a vig or SK has a 33.33% chance of hitting scum. A mafia-directed kill has only a 21% chance of hitting scum.
What makes you think the vig is going to kill at random? If anybody's going to be killing at random, it's the SK.

The claiming discussion on page 3 has its good parts and his bad parts. I agree that we don't need a massclaim, just worry about those anti-town roles. Bulletproof and bomb claims help the scum since they end up knowing who not to kill, so I agree with that. It goes downhill on page 4, though. In fact,
vote Seacore.
We don't need a mass VT claim.

The last time I checked, the vig wasn't compulsive. If that person wants to hold fire, let him or her do so.

He only ever talks about random kills being good for the town. He does not say "if random kills are good, non random is better."

He is planting the seed that ANY vig kill is acceptable. If any vig kill is good, then we don't challenge the vig if he makes a stupid kill, since random vigging is good for town.

This is EXACTLY how you position the town to accept BS vig kills.
I unfortunately have to go with Faraday here. Cobalt didn't say that the vig should shoot randomly. He merely said that he or she should shoot. There may be a smart vig in this game, and if there is a vig I hope it's that type. I'd FoS you, but you've claimed cop and I'm not going to question it right now.
Cruciare wrote:DGB and Elvis are scumbuddies IMO. I'm not incredibly eager to join the Elvis wagon because this blatantly obvious wagonhopping scumbag (seriously why aren't we voting him like hotcakes) is on it, but the comedy here is that scum-driven wagons can still be on scum.

Something's bugging me about Vi right now, but I can't point my finger on it. DrippingGoofball is acting exactly as I expect her to, so still no read.

I'd be more active if the game were slow enough for me to keep up. It just happens that the most active parts of the game are when I'm asleep or working. I'm not denying what you're saying, and it's not normal for me to be relatively inactive like this, but I don't think the accusation's very fair. I have to know what's gone on in 18 pages with the limited chances I've had to look at this.
Vi wrote:Furthermore. Fishy brought up that he was concerned for why Cobalt didn't pick Cop, as it's an obviously broken Town role. I have a similar concern, as Cop is also a good Mafia role. It's not, however, a good SK role.
Seeing as the cop can't detect the SK in this game, I beg to differ. SK can pick cop, produce truthful results, and not worry too much about a lynch. It's an effective safeclaim and encourages the SK to scumhunt.

Now I'm leaning DGB-scum from the OMGUS in #470. I don't see the case on dramonic at all.

I should have said earlier that I wouldn't be surprised if Xylthixlm is scum for #467 (reeks of a policy lynch), meaning I should consider it a possibility that Xyl is bussing DGB.

Yeah but it also encourages SK death so it
isn't
a very effective SK claim so it isn't an effective SK pick like Vig or Bulletproof. EDIT: Vi put it more colorfully than I did.
So are you arguing that it's a bad of an idea for an SK to claim cop as to claim vig?

That's not quite correct. "I can't find the case on dramonic" means "There may be a case on dramonic, but I'm having a hard time figuring out where it's been posted." "I don't see a case on dramonic," which is what I said, means "I don't believe the attacks on dramonic are legitimate." Which means I called my own case on dramonic illegitimate because I forgot about it.

She has to guess scum right. Even if she's town, the odds are not in her favor if she were to pick at random (otherwise, we would already have lost), which I hope she doesn't, and even then she can't find the SK. If everything else in this post goes over your head, at least know that you are being unreasonable towards her—you want her to play perfectly, at least tonight.
