Vi is wrong. Assuming random shots, a vig or SK has a 33.33% chance of hitting scum. A mafia-directed kill has only a 21% chance of hitting scum.

What makes you think the vig is going to kill at random? If anybody's going to be killing at random, it's the SK.

The claiming discussion on page 3 has its good parts and his bad parts. I agree that we don't need a massclaim, just worry about those anti-town roles. Bulletproof and bomb claims help the scum since they end up knowing who not to kill, so I agree with that. It goes downhill on page 4, though. In fact,

He's arguing random kills help town. He doesn't suggest the vig SHOULD kill randomly anywhere. Obviously the inference is that if a random vig will help then a non random kill can help even further.

He only ever talks about random kills being good for the town. He does not say "if random kills are good, non random is better."

He is planting the seed that ANY vig kill is acceptable. If any vig kill is good, then we don't challenge the vig if he makes a stupid kill, since random vigging is good for town.

This is EXACTLY how you position the town to accept BS vig kills.

I unfortunately have to go with Faraday here. Cobalt didn't say that the vig should shoot randomly. He merely said that he or she should shoot. There may be a smart vig in this game, and if there is a vig I hope it's that type. I'd FoS you, but you've claimed cop and I'm not going to question it right now.

DGB and Elvis are scumbuddies IMO. I'm not incredibly eager to join the Elvis wagon because this blatantly obvious wagonhopping scumbag (seriously why aren't we voting him like hotcakes) is on it, but the comedy here is that scum-driven wagons can still be on scum.

I'd be more active if the game were slow enough for me to keep up. It just happens that the most active parts of the game are when I'm asleep or working. I'm not denying what you're saying, and it's not normal for me to be relatively inactive like this, but I don't think the accusation's very fair. I have to know what's gone on in 18 pages with the limited chances I've had to look at this.

Furthermore. Fishy brought up that he was concerned for why Cobalt didn't pick Cop, as it's an obviously broken Town role. I have a similar concern, as Cop is also a good Mafia role. It's not, however, a good SK role.
