What about them both being town?charlatan wrote:
Yes, but it seems very unlikely that they'd vote the way they would have had to on Day 1 for that to be the case. I find Looker very scummy and Messiah slightly scummy independently of each other, but as a pair they simply don't make much sense.Hoopla wrote:Do you believe Looker and Messiah can be scum together?-

I don't know if it helps, but the way that you guys are explaining teams seems off to me, or, rather, I have a different opinion. If there were scum teams I'd expect them to be Looker & Milkshake, Almaster & Peabody, and Messiah & Charlatan. I can't see where I ever interacted or collaborated with Milkshake in a way that would imply any affiliation whatsoever. Not to induce WIFOM, I just don't see it.-

More plausible, but still unlikely. Earlier in the game, I did not care much either way, but with a smaller pool I take the probabilities a tad more seriously. I find that arguments based on numbers tend to be an easy way to muddy the waters. But really, at the end of the day, I find Looker the most scummy -- being in the minority that did not vote hiphop is only icing on the cake.Hoopla wrote:What about them both being town?
Sentence 2: Looker and Milkshake are one of your three viable scum teams.Looker wrote:I don't know if it helps, but the way that you guys are explaining teams seems off to me, or, rather, I have a different opinion. Sentence 3: You don't see how Looker and Milkshake could be a scum team.
Do I misunderstand, or is this quote really self-contradictory? Also, what are you basing these on?- charlatan

more or less done here; will maybe consider invites or replacing into your game if you're in a bind on a case-by-case basis. (low probability.)-

So, if you die, we're supposed to fight ourselves to the death? Thanks, but no thanks.Looker wrote:Peabody & Almaster. I understand that I was wrong about Empking; however, if Milkshake's out of the picture when I'm done with, reconsider Peabody & Almaster.

Or more along the lines of, "I know Almaster hates Peabody, so lets get him distracted by telling him to focus on Peabody so my scumbuddy (charlatan?) can fly under the radar.Looker wrote:While a fight to the death would be interesting, I was thinking more along the lines of a re-evaluation.

Why wouldn't you want people to understand you? It's pro-town. (I'll bet I know the answer.)Looker wrote:RE: RE: RE: Clear & Concise Posts - No, I checked, Idon'thave to. "It is simply preferred".- charlatan

@Almaster: You don't suspect Peabody but you suspect Charlatan? That's nice. I also admire the paranoia, or, if you're scum, the deliberate intensity of your fallacies.
@Charlatan: Pro-Town/Anti-Town arguments are some of the weakest, sitting just below D1 Random Vote Analysis. Everyone has their opinions on what helps the town, but you can't play all positions at all times. Play your town-spot on the town-team and I'll play mine...rather poorly, of course, but that's my reponsibility...if I have any of those in online forum games...
Off to school...-

I'm not really sure what you mean by sporadic disappearances, but yes, I have a crazy life over the past month or so. During this game, I have had my birthday, Thanksgiving, and a pretty sucky breakup with my exgirlfriend, I'm behind on homework, so MS hasn't been high on my list of things to do. However, I do feel that I have been contributing, or at least I hope I am helping. Whenever I post, I try to explain what I'm thinking at that time (not very many one-liner's from me).Messiah wrote:After having re-read I feel that my gut feeling was heavily influenced by his sporadic disappearances and this post. I'd like to get Peabody's response before I say anything else.
As for the post you referred to, I understand how you come to the conclusion that I am trying to get 'town points'. My issue was over the span of 24 hours, CooLDoG went from L-5 to L-1. Many of the votes against CD were without explanation, so I hope why you can see why I believe scum used an opportunity to jump the bandwagon immediately after Empking was cleared. I was mostly concerned with Hoopla and Sposh's vote on Cooldog because it just seemed to come out of nowhere. I hope that answers your question, Messiah.-

I couldn't find a reason to suspect any of the times you went without posting for 2-3 days were timed conveniently, so I mostly rescind this point.Peabody wrote:I'm not really sure what you mean by sporadic disappearances, but yes, I have a crazy life over the past month or so. Yes, I'm fairly satisfied for now. I still don't like that post at all, but that can only go so far.Peabody wrote:As for the post you referred to, I understand how you come to the conclusion that I am trying to get 'town points'. Does anyone feel there's a line of discussion we should resolve before ending the day? If not, I'm going to hammer Looker in my next post.(Mainly asking for the sake of Almaster and charlatan's on-going conversation with Looker)It's times like this..-

Town- as of post 845Day Four Vote Count #4
Looker (4):charlatan, Peabody, AlmasterGM, Looker
Peabody (2):Looker, milkshake
Not Voting (2):Hoopla, Messiah
Deadline (1):Looker
The remaining members aboard the space station seem divided between two of their own. At random, Looker pushes the hatch button and leaps into the chamber before the door shuts. Her body is sent drifting off into a dark void, with little reason left to her suicide.
When a closer look is taken among her personal belongings it seem clear that she is as town as the rest of you try to be.
Looker -has been lynched
It is now NIGHT FOUR. Please have your night actions sent by 1am (PST) on Saturday, Dec. 5th.-

It was a peaceful "night" aboard the space station. Everyone (presumably) slept cozy and sound. Dreaming of asteroids, or flowers, or murdering each other, or something....I don't know. But it was very uneventful. The six of you meet up, once again, to start pointing fingers.
It is DAY FIVE. With six players alive it will take Four votes to lynch.
