End of Day 2/Beginning of Day 3: Mirror, Mirror

After witnessing the unimaginable wrath of the Ascended - and, unusually, being allowed to remember it - you retire to your rooms for the night, dreading the dawn that is to follow.

But as you assemble for the cold orange dawn, you notice that your worst fears were not realized. Only one of your number is missing this morning.

But where did Bogre go? He's not in any of the usual places; a station search indicates that he hadn't rented any of the usual quarters (diplomatic, personnel, businessman, or itenerant), and a security camera analysis indicates that he wasn't in any of the hospices and hostels set up by the station's various associations. So, where *did* this illegal immigrant live? And where did he die?

About thirty minutes later, one of the station's security personnel finds the answer. An officer patrolling the station's relatively seedy underside noticed the smell of blood in an undercorridor, found the hidden/disused door it came from, and succeeded in opening it. What he found was astonishing - a room with an array of equipment (in severe disarray - apparently, whoever was here left in a hurry) and, more importantly, Bogre's dead body.

Or perhaps not more importantly. A cursory analysis of Bogre's room indicates that the equipment here was of Shadow manufacture (sure to be a boon for the oxymoronically-named Military Intelligence Bureau when they arrive to pick it up). Perhaps this is a boon for you as well. Considering how much equipment was here... could you have found the secret base of the Shadow infiltration team? And if so, does that mean Bogre was a Shadow himself?

Apparently, yes. Preliminary autopsy scans indicate that Bogre was one of the Shadows. Which makes his apparent cause of death - heart attack - somewhat odd, since Shadows are known to have remarkably resilient physiologies. Was the murderer murdered?

As you return to the great Atrium to deliberate, you notice two other changes of note. First, the body of Kise (formerly lined up in a makeshift mortuary awaiting space burial) has gone missing. An accident? Second, there is a poster attached to the board where the vote tallies are done...
