You're being intentionally dense and the smiley face isn't doing anything to alleviate that. How do yo know that Justin doesn't authentically believe the case on Vaya? How do you know whether he has internalized the reasons or not?

Jeez. This isn't rocket science.

Obviously, there's no way to tell something like that for sure. It's just the way he says "he read the games and lurking is a major scum tell." What I read is "I read what other people said about the games and they said lurking is a major scum tell." I don't think he's being totally honest.

"How can you tell if someone is being totally honest?" <-- this is what you are saying. Obviously, I can't tell for sure. Neither can anyone else tell that most things they say are 100% certain!

And
besides
, the main thing is that it was the L-1 vote... Maybe he's just trying to catch up and didn't realize, not being opportunistic with the L-1 vote? But, seriously, the L-1 vote deserves at least some special comment about the possible hammer.

I like, but it means I can't take on my usual role of telling everyone else that they are arguing like crazy chimpanzees. ^^

jasonT is my new addition to my top suspects for jumping on the Vaya wagon so late in its journey. I really don't know if he actually believe the whole vayalurking-is-scum thing. He seems more like he's copying previous reasons without internalizing them. And it's the L-1 vote. Vaya is
so
not worthy of a L-1 vote.

unvote, vote: jasonT

By the way, no reveal really does make it difficult to decide who to lynch since you can't weigh what you gain from the flip (something I tend to do alot). Confusing.
Actually, the thoughts where those of my own... I was doing a catch up from where I last posted and had not read anything ahead. If I didn't believe the Vaya lurking thing then why would I have posted more than once that he meta adds up to what was linked to in other games?

As for L-1 and not being worthy, well 5 others thought worthy of her being scum with their vote on her so your point is really a null point. regardless of who put her at -1. there where many others who agreed with the case on her.

Didn't Psycho put Vaya at L-1? Or did Jason and Psycho both do it at different times? I agree with Mordy's approach to MS's comment.

I strongly encourage everyone to at least skim cat in iso in the game Vaya posted. Unless cat can justify the discrepancy, I think more players should vote cat and fewer should vote Vaya. If someone thinks that cat's play in the earlier game is not relevant, they should explain why.

Adding Icerinkidoo to the town list. Also, moving milkshake down a smidgen, for being less sure than the rest of the players on the town list. Moving DoS up but that could be fleeting. I find Vaya's responses to be quite cool and not consistent with someone who hates being scum enough to lurk and be replaced, but I can't get the earlier lurking out of my mind.

So according to you, they are more scummy and less scummy at the same time, but you cant explain so you will use DGBs list?

the question was asked of you, not DGB.

Yes, I saw the list. I'm just pointing out the only aspect of their recent play that is interpretable.

I don't like listing town reads, but I really doubt tajo is scum. I could see towntajo getting a scum read on me on the basis of how we interacted in the prior game we played together as town. I don't like that he disappeared, though.

She's not scum... Iecerint, Cateraction, MordyS, and jasonT are (wait a second... oh I guess Iecerint can be the 3rd party. :P)

Not agreed.

Regarding DGB: Personally I would rather have statements than scum lists. Scum lists are so easy to make. A well-reasoned statement takes a bit more thought.

Don't be silly; DGB has made plenty of well-reasoned statements today.

That said -- DGB, could you explain your town read on CKD?

Don't worry, I agree wholeheartedly that DGB has made plenty of well-reasoned statements today.

I just noticed a certain small trend in the signal to scum-list ratio. ^^ Actually for people other than DGB too.

I'm just waiting for cat to come and explain himself. His play in Vaya's posted game is night-and-day compared to what's here. Also, Vaya's response to being L-1'd here was the same as it was D1 in tajo's I Love You mafia, where he made a good case on SSK after being pressured. (Well, SSK turned out to be town, but he picked up on good points IMO.) Vaya ended up being mislynched ftl at endgame. Not sure whether that's a Vaya-tell, though.

Actually remember, that was in response to someone else being put at L-1 and about to be lynched when I didn't really agree with the lynch at the time. I did get a little heat though for speaking out against the wagon, so I could see why you'd remember it as me being wagoned and pressured.

Anyway though,

Unvote
Vote: cateraction

because he's getting more votes and his lynch seems more probable than jason's right now. I still say they're both scum though.

Cateraction is lurking too, but the diference between him and old-Vaya is that he's more active lurking than plain lurking, and his only posts have been snotty comments about people calling him scum. :P So I support the cateraction wagon... I might get on it, I'll have to see.

Obv cut and paste error. Indeed. Slightly more scummy for lurking. And I'll add that tajo is not likely to lurk as scum. I don't know about ortolan.

Yeah, really? Wow.

I pretty much support cateraction, but I think MordyS or jasonT would be better.

If our deadline is in two days, we need statements like this ^ from pretty much everyone.
