You'd think that, in a time of crisis, everyone will pull together behind a leader and agree on a course of action. After all, this seems to be a hardwired response to crisis in most intelligent species.

But that doesn't seem to be happening. There's too many people who want to lead, and not enough followers to go around. So instead, everyone bickers... and debates... and talks...

Well, what did you expect? Ouranos IS a diplomatic station, after all.

Besides, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. With this many experts around, surely you can figure out a solution.

You decide to start by getting rid of MafiaSSK. He seems to be severely out of his depth, to such an extent that he wants to die... and there's no reason not to give him his wish...

However, as you move to string him up, one of your number stops you. He points to a poster recently posted on the wall of the impromptu lynching room:

RED SECTOR - Ouranos Station has a reputation for permitting underhanded deals and some level of crime. But two brazen murders today paint the spectre of violence on a level never before seen on this station.

dead in his quarters in the Seventh District of Yellow Sector. The exact cause of death is unknown, but authorities are saying that the damage to the body is only consistent with the use of an unknown psionic power. Foul play is suspected.

The second case is even more surprising, as

was attacked in his quarters in Red Sector's Embassy Row. The method of death is consistent with the use of a psionic blade. Officials have refused comment on rumors that Slicey was a member of an official diplomatic delegation, citing section 1084.2 of the Classified Information Act.
