But why? I have never seen someone who asked to be lynched do anything beneficial for the town upon their death. Do you have any reasoning beyond the fact that he said, "lynch me" that it is a good idea to lynch him?

Fallacy. Generally the point of "lynch me" roles isn't that lynching them does something good, but that
not
lynching them does something bad.
DragonsofSummer wrote: Do you have any reasoning beyond the fact that he said, "lynch me" that it is a good idea to lynch him?
If he is lying, we should lynch him as a liar.
If he is telling the truth, we should lynch him on his word.
MafiaSSK is not sufficiently village idiot to try to get lynched for no reason here.

Because you're looking for people to call scummy rather than trying to make the play that's best for the town.

No.

I'm advocating a policy lynch on zwet based on past games with him.

I asked this once.
Why are you willing to lynch a player, regardless of his alignment?

You obviously haven't played with Zwet to understand why people just prefer to policy lynch him. I understand it, but it doesn't mean I agree with it.

1. Okay so do you have any examples of something bad happening because someone wasn't lynched?

2. That seems like fair logic, and I agree SSK isn't that random of a player.

And are you the one that doesn't read metas?

Because I can't really explain Zwet unless you read some of his past games.

Umm... shouldn't the first one be evident? Jester wins if they are lynched. Ergo, vig kills them. How is that hard to understand.
Basically this Reck. A Jester winning does not harm the town. We're getting rid of non-town players. Plus basically refusing to not vote someone else other than zwet. When will you people learn that zwet is not a bad player. He's not the greatest player, but he's not bad enough to advocate a policy lynch. It's typical close minded scum.

Also read MS3 (specifically BlakAdder's role IIRC.) I think he gained something that benefited the town if he was lynched.

Also DoS is not definitely scum Xyl. Not sure yet though. His vote on me is terrible though IMHO. The two people that called it out didn't back it up for sufficient reasoning, which is why I thought they were scum. Plus Starbuck's ability and Reck's blatant refusal to vote anyone else but zwet.

I just can't understand why you need to lynch someone regardless of alignment. What if Zwet's town?

Why are we better off policy lynching, and not lynching someone that we think is scum?

EBWOP: Yep, I was right. Here was BlakAdder's role in MS3 (which also included ultimates BTW)
I'm Daniel Jackson from Stargate SG-1. I'm a Townie Monk, which means for me to win, the town must win the game, and I also must be lynched.
My ultimate activates upon my lynching. It allows me to choose a player, whose role PM will be posted in the thread.
Now, I'm not saying this is the exact same situation, what I'm saying is that someone asking to be lynched can result in a positive for the town. There's no downside that I can see.

The only time I've seen a Jester in a game I've played was on EpicMafia.com, and if the Jester was lynched, the game ended. I did not know a Jester win could coincide with a town win.

vote MafiaSSK
The role from MS3 gives me sufficient reason to believe that it isn't the worst lynch for today. But I really would like to hear more from him so we can get some read off of his player interactions.

True Maemuki, but its not necessarily the same thing. SSK wants to be lynched for what he is implying are pro-town reasons on day 0, and xyl makes an excellent point. He is either lying or telling the truth and either way it is good for the town to find out, and since SSK feels that whatever his power is should be activated today why not?
