unvote Mufasa

I voted to put pressure on Mufasa, he responded how I expected a townie to respond (upset, hopeless, etc). But he also responded by attacking the one that attacked him. That wasn't smart of him. It still makes me wonder why everyone listens to Llama and maybe drop an FoS. But Mufasa is one of the few to actually vote and build a case against Llama.
Because of the above reasons, I think Mufasa is town.
I am also looking at those who voted mufasa after me, and didn't question why I changed my vote when I was the one that started the Jordan bandwagon.
This was your response to mufasa claiming an almost identical role to yours. The only difference was that he had a win condition already. You really do nothing to even insinuate that you have a similar problem in this post, which really makes no sense. The only reason this post doesnt contain a hammer is that your role sounds sort of like a searching masonish role

@all - Does anyone have a role that is looking for an alliance member?

If no one does im planning on a hammer. This just follows a different role which everyone jumped on as town too much for my taste.

Personally, I'm sick of everyone claiming 'I don't really know my role/win condition/things necessary/whatever'. I know this is a bastard game, but I get a feeling that X just decided to go the same way of claim as Mufasa, since people actually let him be after that claim.

I don't like it. I'm okay with hammering X, but I'll wait for more people to answer Llama's question. Oh and by the way, no I don't look for any alliance member.

I'm happy for a hammer on X, if noone with information objects. I think it's quite possible he saw the overwhelmingly positive reaction to Mufasa's claim, and decided to do something similar.

Sup. I'm a replacement that gave this game a good hard skim.

Allow me to eludicate:

Data is not the right lynch (could be SK, whateves)
LLama is townTM
Zaz is bussing X.
I get all giddy when I get to hammer.

Which leads us to:

You can never be too sure of anything in Dreamland. What's there one minute may be gone the next, and X_~ claimed to know absolutely nothing about himself. A tree with a noose hanging from it magically appeared in StrangerCoug's backyard, and the town proceeded to put X_~ in the latter. He had to know
SOMETHING.

"A-a-a-a-argh!" It was the voice, apparently itself being driven crazy.

"Biting off more than you can chew, eh?" StrangerCoug asked it.

"One gone this morning, and another now. At this rate, I'll be defeated in no time!"

"Sucks to be you, old lady!"

StrangerCoug looked out his window and watched as his friends, new and old, pulled things out of X_~'s pockets, which seemed to have more room than they took up space. They found the same kind of illegal gun DeathNote had, various nightmare paraphernalia (whatever the heck constitutes that), and a Mafia emblem. Another evil really was conquered.

In Dreamland, pretty much
EVERYBODY
sleeps, so everybody else just sleepwalked to where they came from. Anybody can also turn up missing at a moment's notice, as events have so proven. What's next for the town trying to give the StrangerCoug his sanity back?

X_~, who was a
Mafia goon
, has been lynched on Day 1.

Night 1 ends in 72 hours.

Fixed the vote count at 3:22 PM MDT.

The friends and enemies came back to StrangerCoug's house. In the kitchen, StrangerCoug's kitchen table was raised to be tilted toward the sink. Chained to the table was LlamaFluff with his head sopping wet, and next to his dead body was a bucket with some water still in it.

StrangerCoug went to find a mop. Next to where he found it was cateraction with a santoku knife sticking out from his chest. Cats are curious creatures, so he searched his body. In his pocket, he found a business card reading "Who am I again? - Nightmares 'R' Us." cateraction was after StrangerCoug's sanity.

The voice spoke up.

"How many of my fellow comrades do the friends of yours trying to save you have to kill, damn you?"

"All of them, now," StrangerCoug responded. "A good friend of mine is dead."

"Good luck. Like I remember saying, you need it, and I'm really pissed right now."

"I figured that."

He went back to the kitchen with the mop. Realizing what he said, he searched LlamaFluff's body too. Nothing of interest was found.

While StrangerCoug cleaned up, his friends debated on the recent killings and what happened the preceding day. Could they be more powerful than the voice led him to believe? Or is their streak of good luck soon to run out? Time would tell in one of the longest dreams ever...

cateraction, who was a
Mafia amnesiac goon
, has been stabbed on Night 1.
LlamaFluff, who was a
vanilla townie
, has been waterboarded on Night 1.

Day 2 starts now with
14 alive and 8 to lynch
13 alive and 7 to lynch (miscounted the living players--my bad).

Nice! If that was really Data again, then he has really awesome aim.

Anyway, I don't have time today for any serious re-reads and looking for connections not between one but 2 scum, but I'll do it tomorrow.

In the meantime, Spyrex, care to explain your theory about ZazieR?

Trivial observation: impaled = stabbed, waterboarded = broken on the wheel = tortured. If flavour is to be believed, consistent with the same two killers.

Yesterday needs looking at afresh with the knowledge that two of the major wagons were on scum.

Gladly. (This is the rough draft I'll go into the full detail later when its not football day).

You have Zaz post-spamming for pages putting suspicion on X under fairly week circumstances. As other avenues are explored this one is always sitting there waiting to be poked at - and then, ultimately, X opts to go the self-sacrifice route mentioning Zaz (but not by name thats too obvious) as a suspect.

Yea. The interplay with that whole voting scenario was something else.

I was ALSO going to say that it is very unlikely that any other mafioso from that group (if there is multiple) were on the wagon. However, it should be fairly apparent now that is the case.

So, yea:

Vote: Zaz

As an aside we have a totally different worry that needs to get dealt with:

My role
really
makes me believe that we are, additionally, dealing with a cult.

Events that happened to me last night further that belief.

Okay I'm gonna re-read the thread properly, or at least read the 2 people in iso who flipped scum.

3 scum dead, now, which is good.

SpyreX, is it possible the mod is just completely fucking with you, or do you think there's a reasonable chance of a cult?

Believe Mufasa's claim more now, I think since the scum tried to copy him w/ some sort of trippy weird claim.

Amnesiac goon? Any ideas? Doesn't know the mafia? Traitor, not sure what to think of that.

If he is screwing with me he is doing a real, real good job with it so I'm leaning on there actually being a cult. (Hint: My win condition is not, but ALMOST the same as the one in the OP)

So, yea, I'd bet ohh... 95% chance of cult with a small chance of ?.

cateraction wrote:Sorry it took a while guys. Here are some quick reads. Feel free to ask more in depth and I'll go track down the post in question.

Bogre - I'm not a big fan of Bogre. I don't feel like he adds a lot. Just agrees with the most prominent case at the time.

Col.Cathart - Leaning very heavily town.
Datadanne - Scum. I mean, really. No contribution to the game whatsoever. Responded very poorly to Llama. The only think he's done is suggest jesters which doesn't help anyone.
Drench - Again, very little content to go on.
Faraday - Gut town read.
Fishythefish - Contributes good discussion and questions. Probably town.
LlamaFluff - Obvtown.
Malcolm - Some shoddy logic, but that's not necessarily scummy. ISO 10 makes me thinks that he's scum (he says Llama is either fishing or pushing for an overreaction that he will make into a MISlynch). Baseless attacks against Llama. I find attacking the most prominent town player for being being a leader is a scum tell.
Mufasa - Village idiot, but the claim is good, and I think town.
Muffin - Jumps on Data pretty easily, not much else contributed. Leaning scum.
Raivann - flip-flopping, wagon hopping, and useless speculation. Most likely scum.
RayFrost - Who?
Sociopath - Don't understand his stance on Llama. Please explain.
Tjoe Min Ja - No read.
X_~ - Calls jordan scum, then makes a case on socio based of that, then unvotes and concedes maybe he's just excited town. Then revotes Jordan and FoSes Socio. Then says that Jordan is town, socio is scum. Make up your mind man! I read scum.
ZazieR - No Read.

Some notes on my predecessor. I think his actions can all be boiled down to a new player. I really don't like the scum gloating tell because I've seen new town do it as often as new scum.

Ok, so Jordan is excited to start this new game. Jumps in guns ablazing and comes under some scrutiny and freaks out. He plays his newbie card really strongly and even softclaims. Then when no one believes him, he lurks and gets replaced. It's how some new people play when they don't understand the progression and style of the game.

Any questions?
What stands out here is the no read on zazie, who had fifty 'fucking' two posts here at this point. That's fairly fishy imo.

Hey Let's

Now, I know this is going to sound a little weird but: I'm not sure if Zaz is the right call right now.

Keep in mind I'm pretty damn positive Zaz is scum but allow me to with the magic of paraphrasing explain why I think we need to find the cult NOW and get rid of it:

I am a strong townie. Even with the bad nightmares and everything else going on I had the power to keep dreamland going etc, etc. (and weirdness in my wincon I didn't pay attention to until today started).

But, I didn't have any powers that I saw.

Until last night when a monster tried to grab me and
go with him
and I pulled free and ran away.

So, yea. Considering we had kills there is a cult. They were unsuccessful last night. Which means at MOST we are dealing with two.

However, in this situation the scumkill (considering we've had 3 killed) might even be BETTER to have than to get rid of until this is dealt with.

As for cult hunting, cult leader could be hard to find.

In this large of a game, it would make sense for more than one faction.

However, note that there were only two kills N0, and two kills N1.
