random vote:mathcam

Because he's not dead.

In other news, how does a mason doc work? Can they still make protections until they're all dead? If so, it's a fairly powerful group, no?

Oh? So you mean that a mason doc would be a doc in a mason with other, non-doc, roles?

Meh, the dodgy bandwagon doesn't really say anything to me. I don't really like voting people because they're provoking discussion...that's kind of what we're trying to do.

However, it is day one...and the bandwagon has created some discussion, so I guess I can't not advocate it. Again, I'd like to see mathcam to realise he's in this game, but other then him, no one really seems vote-worthy right now.

Is it fair to assume from Dranko's post that of those discussing the doc mason (Someone, Big_K, kadath), none is her mason?
No, it's not. Masons are fairly powerful town roles that make good targets for the mafia. Any sane mason would try to avoid being confirmed as mason so as to not get killed.

@ Bamboomancer: Mathcam on your scum list? Any other reasons for that?

Interesting... Dodgy's unvote is really bugging me. If his principle is to vote to provoke discussion, then why unvote just when the thing he was trying to do was realised?

Being obnoxious isn't going to work on anyone around here.
I don't know about that. I find it strangely attractive...

Very nice.

Anyways, despite of the obvious errors in his post, LM has a good number of very valid points.

Now, using LM's list, if we take away our dead innocents, we get Brian McQueso, rajrhcpfreak, Lauritz Melchior and Mathcam.

Out of the four, I find Brian and Mathcam to be the most suspicious. Therefore, I will
vote:brian, FOS:mathcam

Brian was the first to vote dodgy, but his vote stayed on him the whole time until the end of the lynch. One is led to believe that he may have been trying to pressure him without seeming to participate in the lynch? He posted quite a bit, and doesn't really comment on the wagon at all...

Mathcam was the principal force in the dodgy lynch, and now must pay the price for it ;). Is he's scum trying to get a townee lynched? Although I didn't agree with all of his points, it is important to note that scum probably wouldn't be that vocal...

Of course, then it becomes WIFOM because if being vocal proves you innocent then all scum would be vocal.

Just some food for thought.

All in all, there is probably a disproportionate number of scum on the dodgy list, it's just up to us to find em.

Now rajrhcpfreak lurked for a lot of day one, but otherwise did nothing of suspicious. I'm keeping an eye on him, but there's nothing incriminating at this point.

LM was the fourth on the wagon, which is usually more suspicious. However, his vote seems like a genuine gut feeling, and given the way dodgy plays, it is very plausible that he was interpreting dodgy's weird play-style as scumminess.

unvote, Vote:mathcam

It sounds like he searched Mathcam N1, but thought mathcam was innocent, and that he was paranoid.

Logic for the vote is simple: Either mathcam or lauritz is scum. I found mathcam scummier than lauritz, hence the vote. If we have a vig, he/she should vig either lauritz depending on the alignment of mathcam. If any of you two(mathcam/LM) have roles that have any chance to look guilty while you're actually innocent, you should come out now.

I don't know about you guys...but I'd always thought of a godfather as immune to investigations
and
night-kills.

unvote:mathcam

Just because he's one from a lynch. Let's talk this over a bit. Bamboomancer...can you think of any way that they both could be innocent? Because I can't. Therefore, FOS to everyone who hasn't been posting or has been ignoring this issue...probably scum lurking in the background, not wanting to take sides.

I don't understand why anyone doesn't want to participate in this lynch...guys...
one of these two players is scum.
Mark my words...some of our lurkers are scum.

Do we really want to oust LM's role? I dunno...it just sounds like scum fishing for a last shot against the town before he dies, to me. But hey, if you guys think that LM was suspicious enough to warrant a role-claim...I guess one could be in order...

Any reason for the order, or is it just random? If so, I see no reason why we don't start right now.

Stewie, does your role say anything about LM's role? I'm not sure why all of you are assuming that LM is not part of the mafia. Sure, he got a name of a pro-town role...but I'm not sure how that would be completely unbalanced for a mafia...

Given the circumstantial evidence, I'm pretty sure that LM is scum.

Exibit A: Bamboomancer's investigations- I'm assuming that bamboo wasn't random...because frankly a random cop doesn't have a place in mafia, and I'd not lose much sleep if we lose because bamboo was a random doc. The only alternative is that LM's role somehow appears guilty to investigators. However, I'm not sure how this would be feasible, as if LM's knew he was an innocent with any chance of being investigated as guilty he would have posted it by now.

Exibit B: Stewie's roleblocks- This is a lot less concrete. However, the fact that we had two kills on one night means that there is a second killing group, no? Now, if that was true LM would have to be scum.

I'd like LM to adress these two issues, and say why they are/aren't true.

Piano sonatas? Which ones? F major, perhaps?

I didn't claim because we were following the claiming order.

I'm going to wait for the claims before analysing too much.

Indeed. Do you play it?

I'm currently working on his F minor =p]
Well, I try, anyways.

The appasionnata? Ouch. Sounds fun, though.

I'm Andrew Carson, the gunsmith. Lauritz has a gun. Stewie doesn't. (And quailman had one too.)

Judging by the strength of the town in this game, we have two scum left and an SK.

There's only two options left (assuming that big_k isn't just a really stupid townee.)

Big K is an SK- Which means that rajrhcpfreak and Lauritz are in the mafia, and if we lynch him we lose.

Big K is in the mafia- This is more complicated. I'm sure Lauritz is anti-town. Therefore, he is either mafia with Big K, or SK.

Because Lauritz is asian, I'm having trouble believing that he would be part of the mafia. Therefore, I'll
vote:big_k

Wow. Mol wins? Surprising turn of events...

Meh, nice acting job LM. Although, now that I think a bit more, killing ralph would have made things more interesting.
