-If I'm reading it right, it's more useful than it sounds. Also, giving town weak roles is a good trick to make the setup more interesting without increasing actual town power.
-I can see it as a town role. I can also see it as a scum fake claim. And it would have use as an actual scum role too.
-You could be lying, or there could be an invisible killer. Latter is unlikely.
-This doesn't make sense to me either. It almost sounds like he gave his real target list but lied about his ability.

Zak, yes, the ability I used last night lists ALL players to target Spy. The names that came up were Dramonic's and my own.

Xyl, I didn't target Dramonic (though I almost did). I targeted Spy. It was partially a guess on scum's kill, but also something else that is directly related to my role (I'd rather not claim yet).

On point in favor of the nexus claim being true (regardless of dramonic's alignment): Lightning Rod, an obscure role from the flash, was in the game. That makes having a second obscure role from the flash more likely.

My understanding of the lighting rod is that ALL night choices get redirected to that player but that doesn't seem to fit the night scene because we got two deaths. Wouldn't Mufasa have attracted both the kills? I also noticed that Vi listed Mufasa as a different color to Hulk on the front page. Two mafias?

As for Dram v KMD I am more apt to believe KMD not only because I have a townie read on him but also with how he came about at the start of the day. However Xyl I think it was, mentioned unlikely inviable kills. If both Dram and KMD are town then maybe we have a mafia ninja in the works here.

I agree with Xyl in that the presence of a lighting rod makes me more willing to believe the presence of a nexus but I'm really not liking Dram's list of targets.

Anyways, a good part of my scumreads are dead: Mufasa, Mipe, Hulk.

They were all alive on night one. Hulk was alive night two and Mufasa two and three until he was killed at least. This isn't adding up to me.

Also, when you protect yourself against a player Dram, is it just for that night, or for the rest of the game?

The Lighting Rod targets the Nexus. Then, whoever the Nexus picked will have their ability flung around to a random person while every other single ability used that day including cop investigation and vigs and whatnot will hit the Nexus.

All this point has given us is that this set-up is swingy, and whether it is or not is not really our problem (Well, it is, but whining about it now does nothing other than piss off the mod and ruin an otherwise playable game). And I'm not complaining since last night, it swung to the town.

According to the MBF flash, Lightning Rod doesn't target; all the actions target the Lightning Rod. On the other hand, the Lightning Rod role in the flash is badly broken.
