The only way you ould know there are werewolves in this setup would be if you were a werewolf yourself. You know that Taranski isn't a werewolf, because you are a werewolf yourself. This is why you are not voting Taranski.Toro wrote:Of course you aren't, you must be a werewolf!
tl;dr: Toro's the real werewolf, not Taranski.Vote: Toro.I am in the bottom 10% of scumhunters onsite!-

Directing the town's votes is scummy.Andy wrote:If YamiJoey actually cared/was motivated to vote based on a player confusing the town, his vote should have gone toward Taranski for the statement about the role PM comment.
Now he's misrepresenting Taranski.Andy wrote:How can one role fish when you claim to be a protown player and base it off of your Private Role Message? You've flat out claimed.
I'm also curious as to why Andy only attacked Taranski for softclaiming when YJ clearly did the same in a more obvious way in his first post. Add this to the fact that neither of them are voting the other, and it looks like distancing to me.
Unvote. Vote: AndyTony.I am in the bottom 10% of scumhunters onsite!-

Empty statements? He asks me to clarify, then calls my statements empty. If he thought my statements were empty, he would have not asked for clarification, nor would he have said 'I know you actually have an idea of what you're talking about,' which implies he knows my statements are not empty.AndyTony wrote:I'd like to see if you actually have anything behind your empty statements, or if you were just opportunistically hopping on board with hopes more will follow without thinking
Anyway, the part where I thought I saw YJ softclaim a PR was when he said that he loves the mod, as YJ correctly guessed. I retract my statement about YJ's softclaim, but AT's reaction to it was pretty interesting, at least.
Hmm. Let me look over those posts again....Toro wrote:for him to replace out over having to be in a game with him is what made him come up town to me.
11.35: saberwolf votes AndyTony, this is saber's first post of the game, if I'm not mistaken.
12.36&12.39: AndyTony says stuff, not even mentioning the possibility of replacing out because of saber.
12.40: saberwolf says, 'Imma tunnel on AT 'kay?'
12.45: AndyTony requests replacement on the grounds that he doesn't want to play with saberwolf.
I think that saberwolf's claim to tunnel on AT had a lot to do with AT's replacement request.I am in the bottom 10% of scumhunters onsite!-

Oh.
I have no idea where you got the idea I was suspicious of you. I'm going to have to reread this game, since the lack of activity has been killing my reads. The fact that you'd bring that up out of nowhere (indicating you are at least somewhat concerned about said suspicion), and that you'd put an AtE sadface at the end DOES make me suspicious, though.I am in the bottom 10% of scumhunters onsite!-

Well, in order to have any chance of winning at all, I'd have to kill either the cop, the doc, or the cop's target. After the way Taranski implied he was a pr, I felt he was my strongest bet for hitting one of those three things.yabba wrote:I'm amazed Nikanor selected you [Taranski] for the kill, and would be eager to hear why.
After the massclaim, I could have easily pushed a lynch on any one person. The problem was securing a second mislynch in 3p lylo.
a) I could have claimed cop or doc. Toro/dramonic would be lynched, then I would have been lynched in 3p.
b) I could have lynched saber day two, but again, that led to a loss in 3p lylo.
c) I could have led town into lynching saber day two, then counter-claimed cop in 3p lylo, claiming an inno on dram. This was my only pathway to victory. This was 99% unlikely, so I decided to not waste everyone's time, and instead give up in a blaze of haiku.
The outcome of the game hung on the balance of my night one kill. Sadly, I failed. Good job with the WIFOM, Toro and Taranski, I think you guys won it for the town.I am in the bottom 10% of scumhunters onsite!-

Twilight should be as short as possible. As soon as you see a lynch has occurred, lock the thread, then write flavour. The reason is that long twilights can be very beneficial for town if the lynched person is a town pr. Long twilight also completely nullifies the benefit for scum to quickhammer someone they suspect to be a power role. This is a good tactic for scum, as they get to lynch a power role pre-claim, thus denying any possible information from that pr to the town. The scum might get lynched the next day, but it can be worth the risk sometimes.yabba wrote:
Oh! Other thing- the 24 hr Twilight rule, I got the vibe you all thought it was unnecessary. Would you advise I scrap it, maybe at least for small games?I am in the bottom 10% of scumhunters onsite!
