OK, would anyone like to mod Webcomic Mafia with me? I've got a list of about seven webcomics which the characters will be drawn from, if you think you might be interested (They will be announced publically at the beginning of the game, so don't think that knowing the comics will stop you from playing.)
Hey, I'd love to co-mod Webcomic Mafia. I'm a big fan of webcomics myself, though I must admit my opinions are slightly out of the mainstream on some.
Anyway, my accomplishments: I've run one game, Townie Mafia, which recently finished. It included some rather interesting mechanics, but at least you can get an idea of my sanity level from it. And my diligence level. I did keep track of everyone's abilities, answer questions in a timely manner, and all that.

That was quick verification, when do Sycko and I figure out if we can start? Not that time's an issue, we're probably gonn need a week or two to type up roles and figure out all the nitty gritty bits.
I would say if the game gets a approval let them have their chance. Especially when you consider the # of abandoned games by respected mods that have happened. Give the kids an opportunity.
mods makes me require a co mod. Sycko being co mod on this, does nothing to re assure me.
Especially with them being "kids" and summer approaching, I want no chances of it being abandoned due to vacation and what not.
The "kids" will get an opportunity but I just want to make sure it won't go awry.
Maybe you can ask Fuldu if he wants to be a standby in case something happens?

I'm tentatively willing to be auxiliary backup co-mod for Crola and sycko, but I'm going to insist on being allowed to see the setup, comment, and see any revisions made on the basis of comments before I'll officially commit to it. I don't mean to be uptight about it and I don't want to insist that you make the game I want instead of the game you want, but neither do I want to end up stuck modding a game that I don't think works because I was trying to be helpful. I hope that's an acceptable compromise.
/in to mod,
i just had i brillant idea, it is not based on a book or anything but has big changes to the night and day system
(where is the list for all the mods and games, how long is it likely to take to get to the top?)

I'm retracting my French Revolution Mafia from any list of any type - it won't be done for a long while, possibly never - too much that I want to incorporate that I know won't fit but can't be done without, or something like that.
I'm thinking of modding a tri-city mafia, where I'd need 40 players, and they'd be separated into three different "towns" and then when there are some players left, then they'd merge into one thread....
Can I have the A-OK to start a signup thread, Phoeb?
I'll post you a good luck card at this time and send you to a reviewer as well.
Then promise me by all that's holy to you that you won't flake out over the summer and satisfy the reviewer and you can have what you like.
Get a backup mod appointed while you're at it.

I'm going to execute my ability to have a theme game (DDRMAX 2 songs). I shall start it probably about a week after I get back from vacation, but I figure I'd announce it and ask for a backmod now.
Is there a general rule for the review requirement? How is it affected by games that don't easily lend themselves to setup review, like Designer Mafia?
Designer mafia would be an exception.
Though FD had me take a general look at one of the designers and had to tweak some of the roles himself.
Otherwise, mod experience and previous mod achievements (or otherwise) are things I take into account.
New mods will certainly be sent to reviewers, as will those who had problems in earlier games. And ambitious games like Quag's will most certainly need a review.
