Sorry for the unannounced absence. I have had some family issues that have taken precedence these past few days.
So I skimmed through what I missed and I agree that Looker needs a hangin'. People who claim scum need to be roped up or the WIFOM backlash will be horrendous.

And that is L-2 I beleive. (correct me if I"m wrong) I still feel as if we're going to hit jester hee. I don't like how everyone is just giving up it seems "Screw it if he's jester, I just want to get rid of him" If you truly think that way I encourage you to give second thoughts to that and to reconsider your vote. Just a heads up though, the deadline is Friday. If there is no lynch that I agree with I will vote Looker on Thursday because even though it's a bad lynch (at least from my PoV) it is still better than a No lynch.
I've addressed this before, but irregardless of Jester, the mod is a bastard (no offense) for putting one in if he is. Avoid WIFOM and lynch the claimed scum. This is my first game with a Jester, and if they "win"; I won't count it as "2nd place" if the town wins behind a jester.
I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

Alright, I guess that works for me. I don'tthink other town will count it as second place though :shrug: Oh well, I'm still going to wait until Thursday to vote (unless there's someone that's really scummy other than Looker)

@Amished: My second choice is Looker obviously, I'd still rather lynch someone else and NK him however. I'd also take a second look at SSK if I had to drop the Saber/Rampage lynch in favor of another choice.

Well, generally speaking, if he really is scum, his partner(s) aren't going to want to get rid of him because it severely docks their chances. You could more than likely tell a reluctance near the latter part of the count. Possibly. Not saying it
Question for everyone-Suppose we lynch Looker today (which we will probably do). Will you still follow up on the saber (and maybe me, depending on the person) lynch or look for other people who are doing scummy things?
Ok...having reread, I have to say that my best guess as to scum is Konowa. My problem with his posts is not so much activity but general fluffiness and lack of reasoning behind some of his assertions. I also find his seeming flippancy about a possible extra town loss on N1 to be highly suspect. Of course, this is all secondary to Looker, and I wholly support the lynch movement towards him.
That being said, I am a bit nervous about the suddenness of the town's flip on this matter. We've had several players make good posts with valid reasons as to why the town should lynch rather than vig at night, yet the town continued along that path until SSK posted. Then, all of a sudden, there's this huge outpouring of support for the idea. Why? This makes me rather suspicious, and while I don't know that it's scummy, I think that it's at least a symptom of a cliquish town which is evaluating posts based on who is posting rather than the content of those posts.
My posts are best read in the calm, reassuring voice of Morgan Freeman. I don't sound anything like him, but they sound best that way.

Oh, Doom, sorry, forgot to answer your question. I would say it would depend on how Looker flips. Of course, we will have to follow up on any connections and posts that implicate defense of each other, but I don't know that I would automatically say that you should be the next lynch.

Also, I do not want to drag this back into a theoretical argument about it, but my opinion is that it is better for the town if you [Netopalis] shoot earlier rather than later. Like I said earlier, I would rather you shoot early, miss, and shrink the suspect pool, than shoot late and possibly endgame us. Feel free to disagree with me on the theory behind this, but trying to push theory as a scum-tell is quite scummy.

Well unless my calculations are wrong (I'm assuming they're right since no one corrected me) Looker is now at L-1.

Here's a list of scumitude (other than Looker). 1 is most scummy and 5 is least scummy
1-Saber/ABR (obvious why I'm putting him at the top)
