Pretty much, since Buzz doesn't fly and "falling with style" just doesn't cut it, his laser is just an LED, and the toy stores are overloaded with look alikes, Buzz is just another toy.semioldguy wrote:@Starbuck
I'd like to hear your flavor as well. Why are you, Buzz Lightyear, vanilla?
Because I thought I was being clear. Apparently, that's not true either.Jazzmyn wrote:If that is what your post was "supposed to imply," why didn't you just come out and say what you meant?StrangerCoug wrote:The "This makes sense now" is supposed to imply that I've decided to drop that line of pursuit.
At the risk of being construed as incriminating myself (and I'm not concerned about the pressure on me), please be careful with statements like this.YankCane151 wrote:SC almost seems TOO town. Long writing, explanations, defenses. Its not scummy, just struck me as weird.
The day SK being bastardly is basically my perception of things in general. Perhaps I pre-inned for what, by my definition, is a bastard game without knowing it. I have no problem with people disagreeing with me here; people have differing definitions of bastard modding (e.g. I don't consider a bomb to be a bastard role unless it's a normal).Crazy wrote:o_0 What a weird thing to say. Why is a day SK bastardly? You said you didn't want a mod-WIFOM game, but I don't see why a day SK is bastardly at all.SC wrote:The mod confirmed by editing my last post is that Kmd4390 did not get modkilled and I don't see him as enough of a bastard mod to include a day SK, so I think we have a day vig somewhere.
Care to explain, Mr. Quiet?Neopi wrote:I really don't care what scum think. I'm not in a position vote-wise to have to claim anything.
my scumdar is pinging
If you're gonna vote me, you might as well do it right, that's why I didn't include it up there.Jazzmyn wrote:StrangerCougar's post asking the mod if Kmd had been modkilled looks suspicious to me because it seems apparent that if LlamaFluff had modkilled a player, he would have said so explicitly, and StrangerCougar is an experienced enough player to know that. His post looks like he's trying to distance himself from the daykill by pretending he didn't know what it was. FoS: StrangerCougar

Your justification is to prevent a mislynch of yourself. And because it's harder to do if you're scum that's fake-claiming.MonkeyMan576 wrote:Yes I have flavor. I just don't want to give any more info unless there is justification for it. I've already claimed with my role and power.
Well, it sounded to me like you were scum distancing himself from the kill (that and the modkill comment). To me, the kill seems more likely to come from anti-town (probably SK.) Partially because of the flavor (eraser shavings?) and partially because I wouldn't expect a dayvig's kill to extend the deadline.SC wrote:The day SK being bastardly is basically my perception of things in general. I think it's scummy that you don't reveal flavor. And even if I did research and thought up a reason, it wouldn't matter because it wouldn't be coming from you. And if town can do research and find out, then scum could to so you're not withholding anything from the scum by keeping quite.MonkeyMan576 wrote:Well, if players don't want to think for themselves to figure out my flavor or do research, then that's their problem, not mine. Voting on someone because you think they are scummy is one thing, voting on someone because you are lazy is something else.
It's probably more that I don't like being pushed around by scummy players. Revealing role info is something the scummy players do, not the other way around.Crazy wrote:I think it's scummy that you don't reveal flavor. Does anybody here besides Monkey honestly think that revealing flavor would help scum to any significant degree?
You should have done that while waiting for your role PM if you absolutely can't do it before requesting to replace in. I don't care if you don't read meticulously and only make mental notes on the important points, and I don't care if you end up doing it in more than one session. Not having a clue before actually partaking in the game at this stage is like diving in a pool not knowing how deep the water is.Neopi wrote:im not sure yet i will reread soon
