Hmm, actually, don't shoot Looker. It doesn't feel right.

Lynch preferred in all honesty. If he's a jester so be it, I despise those suckers and would rather just lynch them and get it over with. Because keeping them around out of spite of their horrid win condition does no good to anyone other than a constant anti-town player.

Well, it IS implied that there's a Jester in this game...That being said, this also could be scum hoping to capitalize on that fact. Personally, I think that we're better off lynching him, even with the off-chance that he is a jester.

But sometimes scum claims scum if they know there's a jester and they won't get lynched for it. Even so vig can still kill him overnight. But that raises another question. What if he's NK immune or theres a mafia doc etc. etc. So the question is should we lynch him or vig him. I'd personally be happier with a NK.

...but now that they know it'll be an NK, I don't know how effective it will be, as I'm almost POSITIVE that there's going to be some sort of doc/NK immune ability out there on a non-town side.

How are scum gonna know anything *D1* without a night start? Also, Net is nk-immune, a jester (looker) isn't. Also, way to run yourself around in a circle with WIFOM, instead of keeping the simple conclusion.

No, I think it's perfectly reasonable. Thematically, there should be a metric ton of killing roles in this game, balanced by a metric ton of preventative/immunity roles.

Well, here's the downside to your theory. What if Scum has say a strongman? Then they've lured out our one shot vig onto looker and now they don't have to worry about a vig shot. Balance your "if's" before you shoot.

Also, if he's a jester then so be it, I'd rather not take a risk on BBBs Gambit and just lynch him. So what if he meets his win condition. Jesters suck, should claim D1, and should be killed then.

What simple conclusion? We either found scum or a jester. If we hit jester than we obviously NK him. If we hit scum than he wouldn't gain anything from claiming D1 so he must either be a bus driver, strongman etc. trying to get Neto to waste his shot. If this is the case we need to lynch him.

Question for Neto-If Looker doesn't get lynched today, will you shoot him or try to get him lynched D2?

I also think that Looker is probably a jester and should be shot. My evidence is looking back at the game Looker has been giving low-content posts and has been randomly votehopping. Jesters obviously want to act as scummy as possible to get lynched so I'm leaning on him being a jester.

@DB9: The simple conclusion that you came to in 620....

Scum don't want a Jester lynched any more than we do; since they'll play for second place as well. Ok, so it's a lynch on a non-mafia (and therefore they do kinda want a lynch) but if there's any other killing role out there, the scum would have to worry about that if they had a doctor or something.

Scum have nothing to gain from this, even if they do somehow misdirect the night-shot or guard it they traded 1 member for either 1 town member or wasting a vig shot that may not have even connected with them. Lynch someone, shoot the jester/moron, move on with our lives. Worst case scenario we lynch him D2.
