I don't believe I'm misinterpreting you. I'm entitled to my interpretation. That's what slips are about.

I believe I've stated my argument well and we've hashed it out enough so leave to others to decide from here.

How bout the fact that you DID play a game with me as scum (as I linked on the last page) and that you even hammered me in that game?

Starbuck wrote:Now it's turning into an argument about flavor instead of actual scumhunting? Coming from both KMD and Monkey, two people who I do consider very experienced at this game, bothers me a lot.
What is your definition of scumhunting and how does this not fit it?
Starbuck wrote: Who's to say that Toy Story is not a classic? They are about to release a third one! Here's a good question for both of you, how long must a movie be out before it's considered a classic?

It released in 1995, just shy of 15 years ago.
Meh, it's more of a feel thing. It just isn't in the same class as what I assume to be Llama's idea of classics here. I don't know much about Disney, but even I can see how this doesn't fit.
Starbuck wrote:wikipedia stuff
I doubt any of that was written by Llama or that he used it when he made this setup.
Crazy wrote: And Kmd, you were so quick to dismiss all flavor arguments earlier; why would you allow this one?

I can see the argument. Yeah, it's probably a bad idea to go in that direction, but really. Does Toy Story fit with the title of "Disney Classic"? I don't think it does.
MonkeyMan576 wrote:Can anyone besides Starbuck claim to be a movie after 1980(Don't give the actual title, just yes or no)?
I actually don't know.

Still not really feeling Starbuckscum TBH, but I don't exactly have a huge town read. God, that sounds very fence-sit-like. Let's just say a slight town read.

Ok, I'm a little surprised to see this, but yes, mine is after 1980.

Well, I think it does, but that's not the point here. I like flavor arguments, and you don't.

Why do you like flavor arguments in this case?

I'm also surprised you'd still support that Toy Story doesn't fit considering your character is after 1980...

See, the fact that an argument exists over this is why I don't like flavor arguments. We don't know which side of the argument the Mod falls under, so it's pointless to argue it.

Also, I assumed mine was probably before 1980, but was nowhere near certain, so I looked it up and found out it isn't. If we are going by years alone, Toy Story fits as a classic just as well as mine. Mine has more of a classic feel to it. But, whatever. We're better off dropping this.

*fzzzt*

Just like that the room fell to black.

"God damnit" screamed the man from the front of the room, "piece of shit fuse box"

There was a considerable ammount of noise that could only be associated with tripping over chairs, the trash can, and his own shoes as he made the way to the door. More swearing came with each thud as well. Stifled laughter from a few with some of the colorful expressions.

As he reached the door, the lights flicked back on. His face red from the movement to the door and continued picking himself up. Grumbling he walked to the back to his place at the room where he was tallying votes on the whiteboard.

"Lets get back to work here...." he began and then tapered off. Turning to see what he was looking at, or what he actually was not looking at, someone is missing. Only a pile of eraser shavings has been left behind, and a dress, which serves as enough of an identification to identify the pile.

The man wipes off the entire board.

The kill method was 'erased', not 'modkilled'. We have a daykiller, though it's pointless to try and find them as we can't divine if they're vig or SK.

I'm less concerned about the identity of any day killer and more concerned about making sense of what happened at this point.

Either

a) The day killer knew kmd was right about starbuck, and wanted him dead to eliminate a threat.

b) The day killer knew kmd was wrong about starbuck, and killed him so we would think he was right.

c) The day killer is actually town, thought kmd was scummy, but was wrong.

I think the best way to find out is to lynch starbuck, and find out if I survive the night.

StrangerCougar's post asking the mod if Kmd had been modkilled looks suspicious to me because it seems apparent that if LlamaFluff had modkilled a player, he would have said so explicitly, and StrangerCougar is an experienced enough player to know that. His post looks like he's trying to distance himself from the daykill by pretending he didn't know what it was. FoS: StrangerCougar

Revote: Starbuck

Still think this guy is scum. My movie is also post 1980 for reference so I doubt age is a huge factor when considering whats 'classic'

There are several movies post 1980 that could still be considered "classic". The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, for instance. This is different than the CGI Toy Story.

So you are now trying to state that because Toy Story is CGI that it's not a classic? You're beating a dead horse.

Just because post-1980 movies could be considered classic, doesn't mean they are. Just trying to get a feel for where the mod is coming from.
