Seems like a wasted use of a pro-town power role. You can't even be sure of a lynch without sane cop and no busdriver/godfather, how are you going to be sure as a vig?

Well, I mean a better thought out shot. Shooting blindly has a very low success rate, and a higher rate of lessening towns numbers. Not advised at all. And being sure as vig? You can't be 100% sure, but you can have a better idea than just

. . . .PLAYERNAME, the BLAHBLAH townie, has been murdered"

I want you to clarify your position, cause this is what I think you're saying, and it doesn't make sense to me.

1) If DB flips scum
a) Net should shoot Saber for being a scumbuddy because he's also scummy.

2) If DB flips town
b) Net shouldn't shoot a damn person because Saber isn't scummy enough without DB to be shot/lynched on his own.

I know I'm going a little off the handle with B, but they're both scummy enough to be lynched on their own, without going into buddy/distancing wifom. Why should we waste a claimed 1s.nki.m.v.'s *opportunity* to kill somebody that scummy and probably get scum either way? If I were vig, I'd shoot DB/Saber, whoever doesn't get lynched.

If you (metaphorical you, applies to anybody) wants to push either of them to claiming (DB in this case cause saber won't come back) go for it since I feel it's just going to be one or the other.

I'm less sure of Doom then most of you, he strikes me as more VI then scum, or maybe even a Jester since that's a possibility. I'd rather lynch Saber and shoot Doom based on that alignment, if you want to push him to claim that's the town's perogative, but to lynch him straight up I don't think I'll be involved.

He is scummy enough, I just think we should look at the downsides here. We could potentially lose 3 townies in a window of one night and day phase. That is not good at all. So, upon flip, I saw we should shoot the other. If not, wait. Because that will put us in a horrid position if both flipped town and then chalk up the mafias night kill as well and we're, well to put it in good terms, fucked.

And Shotty, that's what I'd like to do. But it seemed like that wasn't going to happen.

OK, whats wrong with my vote? I already stated that if we were going to lynch saber (which it seemed we were going to do) than I would hammer rather than get a replacement. Everyone made it pretty clear at least up to this point that we were going to lynch him. "OK" I thought "Why not just skip the 'wait for hammer' phase and vote him now?" Which I did. I never did a 180. I think I made it pretty clear that I would rather lynch saber than get a replacement than lynch saber.

Anyway, since it's pretty clear that I'm going to be the lynch of the day (at least for now). Do you guys just want me to save you the wait and claim now?

Alright, I have tried catching up and it was very hard, but I have finally gotten through everything. Personally, I am not completely sold on Doombunny, but I haven't done an iso-read because I was just trying to catch up with the interactions in the game, so we will see what happens when I do that, but I don't like how Saber started out joking and really never got into the game it seemed. Sure he was getting a lot of flack for his joking, but I think he could have tried a bit harder. Going through the thread a few times, and i really believe that Saber is the lynch for the day, so with that,

For clarification, are you referring to saber or Doom when you say him here?

Do jester's generally need to be lynched day 1 in order to win? Also, I don't think we should be directing the vig shot. Suggestions are fine, but to assume scum is without any power of their own is a bit ignorant.

No, Jesters do not have to be lynched D1 to win.

Also, I understand what you're saying as far as people assuming scum are powerless. But the only scum powers that would really effect that are: Busdriver and Strongman.

Busdriver could redirect the targets, and Strongman would survive the kill.

@Kik: He is more suspicious to me then Doom and I think leaving his player slot around will create more harm then good. Also normally I would agree with you, but he is a miller vig so it would be nice to have some kind of confirmation of his role if we could verify his target instead of letting him say 'I did this' after the fact.

You want the short or long version? Short-We all RLed, Archon (the dude you replaced) self voted to bring game out of RVS. BWs soon piled on saber and me shortly after for joking. Amished came back from his V/LA to start more feirce attacks on us. BWs and stuff formed and people started to dissapear. saber and Amished started to play better and more people left or started to active lurk. thats pretty much it unless I'm forgetting something.
