Well...I think that I'd probably feel strongest about a Cass lynch today, honestly. Cass' play yesterday wasn't so hot...and it seemed to me that he wasn't too interested in advancing the town's discussion. Yabb's play, on the other hand, was definitely geared towards the advancement of the discussion....It seems to me that the optimal scum play is probably to lay low given the level of activity.
And yeah, as much as I hate to say it, ABR is practically confirmed town. I find him scummy as all get out, but logic dictates that he has to be who he claims he is.My posts are best read in the calm, reassuring voice of Morgan Freeman. I don't sound anything like him, but they sound best that way.

I'll let my WIFOM theories actually sit for now. They make no sense and are impractical, at present.
If someone counterclaims nurse/deputy today, town wins, since we can afford to lynch both claimers. I can't counterclaim ABR, though.
Without any counterclaims on the table, it's a toss-up between Jahudo and Cass. Netopalis appears town to me, and ABR, I hate him, but he's en route to become confirmed town. Cass isn't a name I have surfaced with before, but I remember one of her posts pinging scummy to me overnight. I'll look back.
Either way, my confidence is brimming right now.yabbaguy ~ Winning without actually winning.

I'm going to go ahead andVote: Cass....I'd like to hear from him, but I can definitely see us leaning towards him today, since 3 of us have said that he's pretty high on our lists. My posts are best read in the calm, reassuring voice of Morgan Freeman. Majority is not always right, of course. If it were, my (admittedly provisional) town record should be in the winning column. >_>
Other correction: Cass is female. At least she actually has a gender icon... *mutters*Jahudo.yabbaguy ~ Winning without actually winning.

Okay, I'll go back to being a guy.
Valid points for a normal game, but the day was short in terms of post # and I don't see Cass's contribution as strikingly less in comparison to us.Netopalis wrote:Cass' play yesterday wasn't so hot...and it seemed to me that he wasn't too interested in advancing the town's discussion. I also think it's much harder to lay low in a 7 player game as opposed to a regular 12 player mini. Scum may like their numbers and try to direct conversation and be more vocal because they have less people to convince. But I can't say that yabba was being controlling because we didn't have a very long day 1.
That said we need more contribution from Cass. There's not much argument to say she's town right now.-

Fair enough point in regards to the number, but whether or not the play works, I do believe that Cass' lack of real contribution should at least put her under suspicion. My posts are best read in the calm, reassuring voice of Morgan Freeman. Can everyone just say that they are or aren't a backup? Let's be systematic about this.

Cass hasn't shown up, for starters, so you're not at 100% yet. If your claim is true though, it'll become apparent without any intervention from you. C'mon, you know that.
I'm trying to instigate a pro-town process here. I like borderline-OCD claiming styles, because I've missed a camouflaged docclaim in a prior game, and a very reckless and belligerent town lynched me for it.
If I'm missing something, let me know.yabbaguy ~ Winning without actually winning.

Not a backup. And I don't know why you're so nervous ABR. Again, if you weren't practically confirmed, I'd find your behavior suspicious. My posts are best read in the calm, reassuring voice of Morgan Freeman. I don't sound anything like him, but they sound best that way.

@yabba, neto and cass: What do you think about CSL's interaction with people?
There's barely any interaction, and I can't gleam anything from my point of view. CSL joke voted yabba in his first post, but I never know if that means anything from scum. I don't think it does.
Then he put me to L-1 and tried to unvote once he knew that. I actually believe he was trying to unvote and didn't realize the rule about using a colon--it just seems like he wasn't reading the rules or paying attention. And since he unvoted because Neto pointed it out, it's possible that CSL was trying to avoid suspicion from Neto.-

Like I said before, I find his play to be almost wholly incomprehensible and unreadable. He played without any real, clear logic and I doubt that he had much of a plan. Perhaps someone else can see something in his play, but I'm rather clueless as to how knowing that CSL was mafia helps us. The only possible thing is where I tried to help him in the vain hope that yes, perhaps he may actually become a useful player - clearly, that failed. Obviously, I know that I'm town, though, so that's not much help to me...and we've already discussed it a few times. My posts are best read in the calm, reassuring voice of Morgan Freeman. Perhaps so. Don't know how well he would have followed it, though. Depends on who his partner was, I guess....My posts are best read in the calm, reassuring voice of Morgan Freeman. I don't sound anything like him, but they sound best that way.

Simple disinterest/forgetfulness.
I also don't know how to answer that question. I didn't observe any CSL reactions, nor do I have the sort of meta Netopalis does.yabbaguy ~ Winning without actually winning.
