True, except that if the claim is credible, we might not want to lynch that player.Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.

I understand, intellectually, where you're coming from, DGB, that Kmd's claim being quick was a point in his favor in your mind, but I have a bit of a problem. When Kmd was asked to claim his flavor:
NO.Kmd4390 wrote:Vaya, my entire childhood was all about music. I started playing at a young age and most people were impressed. All I want is to share my music. I've just recently realized how strong my music really is.
Where were you/what were you doing when the Giver was killed and why did you not mention it when Vaya asked you to claim your flavor?-

VP, we should be looking for scum. If someone doesn't believe my claim, that's one thing. If they are voting just so no one else claims, it's not a very good idea.
Vaya, elaborate. Are you voting just because I claimed? If not, why weren't you voting me already?KMD is the coolest dude who ever lost a bet to me - vonflare-

Shenanigans. I'm calling lies, but even if my hypothesis is wrong and not everyone has Giver-related goodness in their Role PMs you remain as scummy as before.Kmd4390 wrote:

Sorry, it's a Final Fantasy reference. The bard guy attacks enemies with music. He's also one of the crappiest characters ever. The "spoony bard" thing is one of those hilarious Japanese translation artifacts.Kmd4390 wrote:Oh, and Zito? I don't get your pic..KappaJust MonikaAge is a very high price to pay for maturity.-

Clarify please: No Giver-related goodness at all? Very well, I suppose; my hypothesis might well be wrong. But it doesn't lessen Kmd's scumminess a whit (he's just not going further up that ladder.Papa Zito wrote:To be fair, Plum, my PM doesn't mention that I was in some specific place when The Giver was killed either.-

I'm not sure what you mean by "Giver-related goodness" exactly. My reaction to the death is in there, but a specific place/time/activity isn't mentioned.Plum wrote:

Reaction to Giver's death = Giver-related goodness. Kmd, ANYTHING Giver-related or???Papa Zito wrote:

Yes. I've had a bit of a gut scum read on him for a good amount of the game, starting around the time he came in and voted DN after it was explained multiple times how he didn't scumslip. I'm not sure if could explain it in words well myself. I really like and agree with what you said earlier though, how his scumhunting feels artificial.VP Baltar wrote:Vaya, did you find kmd suspicious before the claim?
I'm not voting you solely because of your claim, but it is a reason. I only wasn't voting you before because I also liked my stark vote.Kmd4390 wrote:Vaya, elaborate. Are you voting just because I claimed? If not, why weren't you voting me already?-

Ooo, nice assessment.Vaya wrote:Unvote
I don't trust kmd's claim at all, it sounds fake to me. I especially don't like the whole 'I don't know if my target is jailkept or killed.' I suspect that he's likely a scum RB or JK who wants to account for when he kills his target. I'm also not liking how quick he was to claim in the first place.
Kmd, could you paraphrase your flavor?
DGB, every claim is going to be believable. We are all PR's of sorts.
I dislike the vagueness in who could be JK/vigged and would still like to see kmd lynched, however putting it off a day to get his results and assess them could perchance be useful.-

Claim:
Musician. I can play music to someone at night. If they like the music, they reach a spiritual state which leaves them unable to do anything, but also protects them. If they don't like the music, they kill themselves over it. So I'm a JK/vig and don't know which when I target someone.
I was totally neutral on KMD until reading this claim. This claim provides great data. It is, as far as I can see, a very bad claim.Vaya, my entire childhood was all about music. I started playing at a young age and most people were impressed. All I want is to share my music. I've just recently realized how strong my music really is.
The flavor (although maybe a good try) seems made up on the spot (I, uh, was just a musician for my entire life?). He also doesn't give us a name ending in -er (The Verber; ex. The Giver), as I hypothesize all role names should.
Doc is a classic thing for scum to claim as an emergency measure, yes? The "JK" thing was added in there because kmd knows full well that plain Doc would look fishy.
And, my role PM also supports Plum's hypothesis:
When kmd realized he should have included that info, he did the smart (but scum) thing of saying "How odd, my role PM doesn't have that."Where were you/what were you doing when the Giver was killed and why did you not mention it when Vaya asked you to claim your flavor?
I mustunvote, vote: kmd4390-

'Doh . Newbie confusion of role names. Should read:Doc is a classic thing for scum to claim as an emergency measure, yes? The "JK" thing was added in there because kmd knows full well that plain Doc would look fishy.
"Doc (and by association jailkeeper) is a classic thing for scum to claim as an emergency measure, yes? The vig thing was added in there because kmd knows full well that plain JK/Doc would look fishy. "
