I guess, but I remember the time we were in that crazy BM cult game with four cults and he fake claimed that he had the ability to find out how many cult members were left in the game each night. I thought it was pretty creative and awesome. We killed him, of course... but the claim almost stopped us.

I don't see what's insane about Tajo's move as scum. He claims to have role info clearing rofl and a bunch of other people (probably mostly scum, maybe not all to get the town ones good will). The lynch is steered to a third party scum know is town. Tomorrow is probably LYLO and scum with the help of a townie or two lynch iamausername or another townie for the win.

Do you think it's likely that he's fake-claiming as he is?

(iamausername touches on my thoughts re: the roleclaim later as well - it's pretty darn consistent.)

I also think, that if a vig claims and isn't countered, then we should lynch tajo today, because it A) prevents losing tonight if the person he hides behind is killed or he hides behind scum B) either nets a scum (virtually two or three) or four confirmed townies.

I'm not sure I follow you. Why not no-lynch instead, given this concern?

We need to mass claim. We have outed heaps of roles, we should lock scum into fakeclaims now. I'm happy to go first.

Aside from that, I hesitate on a pooky lynch because there is too much support for it and pooky is a soft target. I can't think of a much better choice. If kmd has a bullet then he can check the hider claim, but if not we need info badly.

And, speaking of that vig; in the event of a town lynch today, I would suggest that you consider shooting tajo tonight. I think shooting anyone else would be a risky move, because hitting town could potentially mean game over. But if you hit town tajo, you won't actually hit, because of his role. Wheras scum tajo will die just as well as anyone. Turns it from high risk/high reward to low risk/high reward, what's not to love?

There's one huge problem with this.

IF we lynch correctly today, it's a great idea. If we lynch wrong today, though, then Tajo SHOULD NOT HIDE tonight. If he is telling the truth and hides, then we might lose 2 town people tonight; either he might hide with a scum, or if he hides behind someone he knows is town that person might get nightkilled by the scum costing us 2 people.

If we lynch wrong, and then we lose 2 pro-town people tonight, then town loses if there's 5 scum.

Thesp - I need to go back and re-read Tajo fully I guess but I don't know if I have time before I go V/LA. I'll be back before deadline though. I still don't think iamausername can be scum (if he is, he's astonishingly good at walking the line). If Tajo is telling the truth then there's a lot of improbable coincidences... and I didn't trust him before, either. I still don't know which is less likely, tajo town and loads of weird coincidences, or Tajo pulling off that fakeclaim.

I agree a lot of people are wailing on Pooky. Including 2 of those blanks. If they're not bussing, that doesn't leave a scumteam with him in it that I can see.

What does No Lynch get us for tomorrow? A corpse, or two, an investigation result, or two, or blocked investigations? I don't think it puts us far ahead of where we are now.

I think KMD has compromised the "shoot Tajo" plan, as it now would no longer definitely confirm him one way or the other (KMD could be blocked). Maybe a different target would be better, but then why don't we just lynch them?

Of the eight that rofl an vp say have to have all of the scum, kmd is confirmed unless there's a counter and I know I'm town, so to believe them there can be only one town out of pooky, zu, iam, ekim, thesp and Elvis. I just think that's hugely unlikely.

Can't see much wrong with a massclaim. The scum have plenty of roles to pick from no matter who is telling the truth. No lynch I'm still muling over. For those who believe rofl and iam, I'd say no lynch is a must.

No lynch means Tajo can hide without fearing losing us the game. Tajo cannot be roleblocked from doing this. Without a no lynch, if Tajo hides on scum we lose, assuming five scum.

There are also a limited amount of people that scum can kill without giving the town a lot of info.

Or are we relying on there being a doc who will protect tajo's target? I mean, if Iamausername is town, he can jailkeep tajo's target, but the hider goes first (I think), which would effectively protect both from a NK. Is that correct?

I hate the hider claim because I was more and more happy with my position on rofl.

Im failing to see how these are protown reactions. Its like they were very happy with the rolfwagon and then bam, crap, tajo rained in his parade. How can you say "crap" or hate a claim that has the potential of breaking the game?
