LLama- I agree with you. I also am saying that in a large game like this it makes sense for them to be vigged over lynched- should they be found scummy.
I never said shoot them day 1 period no ifs ands or buts. You were leading your question like that."Against logic there is no armor like ignorance."-

If someone looks like scum, you push their lynch, this is basically regardless of what they have claimed. If I think SB is scum, I will push that lynch. I do not think that SB is scum though, so I do not want him lynched.
Taking it at face value is not the same as writting them off.

This sure looks like a "no ifs and or buts" wording.Sajin wrote:Millers are increibly uninformative lynches (because you cannot read peoples votes well as the reason for voting is policy based). I suggest a miller claim be vigged.-

It was implied to me. Why *cant* a miller be lynched though? Just trying to pry into your thought process a bit here. If its not policy (or at least primarily not policy) I would prefer to see a miller lynched then vigged.-

oh. THere are votes against me. Thats strange.
Don't worry though people. If it comes down to it, I'll make sure you don't mislynch. Just give me time to post if somehow it comes down to hammer. But I'm town. I'm just a sadly inactive town who can't tell a joke from truth especially on a forum
Nonetheless...still re-reading.kick logic to the curb and do the impossible!-

Because we get zero reads off a immediate miller lynch. Did you see the wagon that formed that was "OMG it is a miller, lynch her!"? Yeah....bad.
While a lynch based on other merits is fruitful a lynch on them because they are a miller is not. I agree, if we find SB scummy for other reasons then a lynch is completely warranted. I would completely support a vig who shot a miller though.
Hopefully that cleared up my stance.

OK. I skimmed thoruh, trying to absorb as much info as I could.
I wonder if I should expect to be lynched today, so I can just use my ability and participate in the other mafias in peace, try to make those end up better.
But that may be a pessimistic view...
I slipped and failed. If I were mafia, I'd feel like the biggest dumbass in the world.
I'm town and feel like the second biggest dumbass in the world.
Is there a search engine I can look through to investigate specific players? In previouss sites thats what ive done, but search is down?
My vote is still on stark, I believe. And I uphold that.kick logic to the curb and do the impossible!-

at the bottom of the page, under the quick-submit you'll find "Display posts from previous:" and a bunch of scrollboxes.
Just pick a player and you can read em in isolation (called ISO)I'm a hoot

So you dont want to lynch SB on the miller claim alone, but would if he looks scummy which you think he does. You dont mind him being lynched for the miller claim though. Is that it?Sajin wrote:Hopefully that cleared up my stance.
Fairly town. I dont at all agree with whats used against him and think a majority of the wagon is slightly scummy. Its obvious enough that council=town in the role PM, if we had to lynch DN or stark on basis of 'slips' alone, I would go with the DN slip.llama- What do you think of stark?
@Vaya - Why is stark scum?
@milk - Did you think that Kise investigated you?
@ben - Who is scum?
@kmd - Expand on the sajin meta you brought up?
Im already not starting to like how this early game is going to split over the stark thing. Maybe the best way to fix this is to be really blunt...
@Stark voters - Did you conntect council=town when you read your role?-

And that helps in other mafias too
Hmm...so which is scummyier? Stark or DN?
and to answer Llama...I ddint know who council was until I came, read, and made assumptions.
so yea, I suppose.unvote
Let's make me feel a little more sure first...kick logic to the curb and do the impossible!-

Hm. DN seems to have spammed more than stark, and many posts allow for an easier slip, I believe.
Stark has also spammed, but contributed, and acted purpseful like a town should.
I've decided.vote DeathNotekick logic to the curb and do the impossible!-

Llama- I am against a miller claim being lynched for the claim alone.
I would agree with a vig who wanted to shoot a miller claim.
@llama- No I did not connect that council=town from my PM. As stated before.
How the heck are you seeing stark as town leaning? At best, without considering the slip, nor considering the incredibly bad explanations he has posted for it he could be seen as neutral. Exactly what has he contributed that has been town leaning in your view?"Against logic there is no armor like ignorance."-

SpyreX, yes, that's what I saw when I read your response to vollkan and subsequent unvote of DN; I generally agree with your sentiments there. I have fish to fry besides him, though he doesn't look like he'd make a bad grilled dinner, if you don't think I'm letting this metaphor run away with me.
Oho, wait just a second. I might have accepted your explanations for why you immediately pushed hard for an SB lynch if you explained them initially - but this, instead, is what I see:tubby216 wrote:1st the pact, I believe the first appearance was in Mafia 82, where BM brought it up and it failed there to.But anyway I was always interested in the idea but i cannot get the wording down right to make it more usefull for scum hunting. Basically people will enter the pact and vote and hunt as a group in a sense greating a game within a game.
2nd snow bunny, her post 262 on page 11, just smells really bad of scum setting an investigative trap. Especially in a game this size and this complex. either a) she is scum and will come up guilty and thus being confirmed will cost for the rest of the game. b) she is some type of GF hybrid that cause all investigatives to call their sanity into qquestion. c) the scum group does have a watcher and their watcher will be able see who targets her.
So in that post alone we have, trying to direct pro-town investigative roles, and a giant appeal to emotion. Ever post there after seems like a bigger appeal than the one before it.
I feel that there are far better choices for the investigative roles to look into in i leave it to them to make their choices.
@ lama yes i played a couple games with millers on site and got burrned buy them don't like they should be lynched and lynched early when the town still has the numbers to recover.
@ snowbunny good luck on your meta read, here are some helpful tips. you can ask Vi or Adele they have the best meta reads on me that are currently n ot in this game. Or you could look at. Mafia 82, Mafia 88, Xyl's relative chaos, Mini 806,Vipod mafia, newbie 779,newbie 795,
wich reminds me i need to do a wiki page sometime soon.

You only give the more reasonable explanation for your behavior on the SB vote and bullying for others (in this case, VP Baltar) to join the wagon - that you felt she was setting a scummy trap -tubby216 wrote:
stop being dense get on board and lynch snow NOW!! or you will earn my vote!VP Baltar wrote:

This is in direct contradiction to your general indication that it was a policy lynch, made most explicit in the first two posts of yours I quoted after the one I'm responding to. You say now that it looked like the Miller claim was a scummy trap, but earlier you said that in your opinion Millers simply need to be lynched ASAP to avoid WIFOM sandpits later in the game.
Looks like scum backtracking. You acted weird for what you clearly indicated to be a purely policy-based vote, I called you out on it, and you toss me an explanation for your weirdness which contradicts your earlier statements.Scum.
More soon maybe.
What do you mean by that? Are you only considering the two of them in terms of spam quantity or on their debated slips? Do you think what is termed DN's slip indicated scumhood more than what is termed stark's slip?~Jordan` wrote:Hm.
