I had to actually miss an entire session this past Thursday because I was typing up an essay during the time I should have been riding out to school. My instructors give those damn things out like hot cakes. I also hate having rules when writing; needing to do three different types of examples, etc.Far_Cry wrote:School is a burden, huh?

After countless hours of pouring over the love profiles of eDisharmoney.com you discover one that is particularly out of place. It is that ofFar_Cry. On the surface it looks like many others: enjoys long walks on the beach, quiet moments at sunset, Patrick Swayze without his shirt on, etc. However, when you start looking closer at his profile you realize something strange. My purrty wittle kitty-poo
It seems as though Far_Cry isn't looking for love at all. In his profile pictures you notice he has a folder titled. You click on it and see him with a picture of an adorable little kitten. How sweet. There he is playing with the cat and a length of string. There he is scratching under the adorable little thing's chin. There he is giving it a kiss on the cheek. There he is shirtless with the cat on red satin sheets. There he is...OH DEAR GOD! MY EYES!!!!!!
You quickly contact the administrators of eDisharmony.com and they root out the inappropriate profiles. In gratitude for your obsessive monitoring of the dating site, you receive a not-so-fashionable tote bag with an enormous eDisharmony.com logo splashed across it. Now everyone will know you can't find a date! Congratulations.

Scum quicktopic
Sorry for the delay on the closing scene. I dozed off last night a bit early.
Anyhow, I think le Chat had a tough shake with rocco early on. Far Cry did well when he first replaced, but due to RL or whatever his contributions dropped off and allowed the town to get the advantage.
Amished did a good job of driving up the town's activity, and I would say he deserves most of the credit for this win (though other people had accurate reads). Town did a good job on a whole of trusting their instincts and sticking with them. Congrats.-

Gogo activity, without that, people couldn't get those reads At the end, I did have FC pegged, though Siro, you were close. I think what did it was when I actually went back and read FC in ISO and saw that he really didn't do much at all with voting or suspicions.
I didn't see le Chat at all though >.< Glad I didn't have to get him right..I'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.

Cool, thanks Amished! I'm sure I'll be calling that favor in sooner rather than later.Amished wrote:A-EBWOP: Two games of mine just finished within the last couple days, and I don't expect to pick up that many more. Writing Composition II. Needed 1,000 words for a rough draft. It was not too brutal though because we get to pick our own subject.Far_Cry wrote:What subject? And how many words at that?
Also, I was the 1st on FC's wagon. Just in case you bums forgot. I do admit I had second thoughts about him being scum as soon as the deadline approached, but dramo & Siro were not reading scum to me so I had it at either Amished or le chat. Everything basically came back to le chat because he/she was on the fence too much, trying to look good. They have escaped into the mansion where they thought it was safe.

That game was simply way to easy for town. I could have saved me and le Chat had I not been so busy with homework. Before I replaced in, I read through the game. I sort of made a gamble, becuase, had SpongeBob been scum (and I his partner), we would be in some serious trouble. But since it was le Chat, I thought we had a shot at winning. Dead wrong.
That's not sooo bad, but it still sucks. I've got a four-page research project (with a powerpoint) and another powerpoint due next week. Plus I have an essay on my favorite "book series" (some real shit) due on Monday. Well good luck on your homework! And hopefully, we will cross lines again (which I make sure will happen )Kise wrote:

Still limited access, on phone, but I would like to say good game to the town and my scummate. I was deathly afraid of seeming scummy for a hammer on spongebob so I didn't when I probably should have. Almost had FC do it but didn't end up working out. I shouldn't have feared it so much, as though it was a scummy hammer I would technically be as at fault as the 3 other townies. I learned some things from this game even in losing.
Enjoyed the open setup. Like small games! Loved the flavor, VP Baltar you are pretty clever . Also, who doesnt love flavor tailored to the players? Had fun playing with everyone, especially Dramonic (mafia minet!) and Amished.-

Are you kidding me? That game was the only game I won on this site. In 3 other games I played, I was town, and town sucked in all of them.Kise wrote:I don't think we've ever had the same alignment in our games. What's the score now? You won one as scum, I won 2 as both scum & town?

No problem. I kind of was too lazy to wait in the queue, and I didn't want to replace in a game with a 100 pages on it.VP Baltar wrote:

Wow dram, you need a better team >_> (Yes, blame it on them...)
Anyways, the town all together really did well this game. Having Kise and dram read so strongly town to me basically gave me a 2/3rds chance of hitting scum (which is more than enough in this setup). I think it was Dram that read me as strong town, which helped him.
Oh, question: Siro, how the hell does a replacement coming in and acting pro-town not affect how you view them at all? srslyI'm going on a crusade to put more thought into my posts.
