I think there is a lot more danger in lynching rofl blindly than laying off Yos for a while. Don't you?

Imagine what happens if rofl is lying. He is forced to fake a claim at some point, and fake results. That is not as easy as it sounds. The chances of us catching this is pretty high.

On the other hand, there's no recourse if we kill rofl without hearing why iamausername wants us to. rofl will be dead. I'm not doing it without hearing why, especially when I have thought all game that Iam was scum and rofl was town.

Also, please realize how much of a hypocrite you are, thinking rofl should die for his softclaiming, but calling iam the hero for his softclaiming. You have a problem with rofl not full claiming, but not with iamausername. If you want things out in the open, then you should want everyone to be open.

I don't know what roles/info IAUN and rofl have, so I don't see why I should tell them how to play those roles. I'm pretty sure they are both competent and can figure out how best to divulge anything. I really hate when someone tries to play your role for you or has to have every single detail revealed immediately.

I tried to attack Yos2 and VP but was told not to for reasons unknown and when I challenged it I was called scummy and a role fisher. Now the tables are turned and the same people who called me out for role fishing because I wanted to know what gave rofl the right to shut down my scumhunting on Yos2 are OPENLY DEMANDING a full claim from iam. Not to mention all the townies who jumped on the Xyl wagon yesterday because it was cool and are now carrying on with the same bad theories as if nothing happened.

I have a right to feel a little vindicated at this point.

I support iam full claiming, I think iam and rofl should both fullclaim and we'll work out who is telling the truth. I'd be very surprised if it was rofl who was more convincing.

In any case, I'm not demanding that Iam claim. I'm just not going to lynch someone I think is probably a pro-town power role based on a vauge comment by someone else that dosn't even make sense to me, at least not if taken at face value.

Not for challenging rofl. FOr trying to find out his role, again and again, in a situation where no pro-town should do that. The Iam situation is obviously quite different, and we'll see how that develops.

I've sent a little while looking at what roflcopter said, what iamausername said, and the possible roles. I trust iamausername is competent enough to not screw things up by misunderstanding the possible setups. In fact, if he later claims he screwed up I will disbelieve him. The fact that iamausername came out as having role-based info implicating roflcopter is significant enough a move that I think roflcopter should claim fully then iamausername should explain his

reasons

for believing rofl to be scum. And if they're unsatisfactory, he should probably be lynched.

One player has claimed to have role based information implicating another, and has put his neck on the line to demand a claim. This needs to be resolved.

I also don't see why rofl should claim before IAUN. Is there a good reason for it? Obviously the one who is claiming second has a significant advantage.

I'm not blindly following anyone. iamausername has claimed to have incriminating role-based info on roflcopter, and has asked him to claim. I'm supporting that request. The vote is part of that support.

At this point, I'm pretty convinced that one of the two of them should be the lynch for today. If they both claim and iamausername's info does implicate roflcopter then we should lynch roflcopter; I don't see why iamascum would come out with false info like that to secure a single lynch (we can't be in LYLO yet and a 1-1 scum-town trade at this point should favor the town). And if it turns out that iamausername's info isn't actually a compelling case for a rofl lynch then iamausername should probably be lynched for inciting unnecessary claims when he should know better.

The reason rofl should claim first is the motivation. I can't understand why a protown power role would softclaim to try to divert suspicion away from someone with one or two votes, even if they did have an innocent or similar. roflscum has more motivation to make those kinds of noises, especially if he's working up to a fakeclaim.

iam would have no reason to counter as scum, unless he thought it was important enough to kill rofl that he was prepared to get a 1:1 exchange, which seems unlikely. As I said before, the motivations point to this being iamtown.
