Shotty: I saw zwet using his meta as an excuse to not vote. Also, I don't really think you should excuse qwints just because he's in another game. Do you think he's scum?
augh, really, really thought whoot was scum. He fit perfectly as scum.Taking a temporary retirement from playing mafia games... damn you invitationals.
Coming in Summer 2010: Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Mafia. The most nonsensical game of mafia you'll ever play.

I went back over Whoot's actions as a townie miller and ... I've got nothing. I'm having trouble imagining what caused him to hammer Zwet like that. it just doesn't make sense.
I'll be looking over Honcho and box during the night."You know, I was hoping for a cop investigation. But instead I get [two vig kills]... okay." - Zakeri
"I wish I ever got messages like this." - Vi-

His posts didn't make any sense as town, his defense wasn't going to get any stronger in the meantime. He really thought Box was scum, I'm going back over that now while I finish the other threads."By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest." -Confucius-

Bah I didn't reread Percy closely enough, should've known Whoot was town from his bull. I don't think Box is scum after a reread either. I'm leaning towards Qwints being scum, he didn't get any heat from Percy for his vote which was just as bad as Whoot's. I'm still mixed on honcho tbh."By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest." -Confucius-

Quoted from one of my other games. We were in night and the thread was locked at the time. Haven't been back to the boards since then. I just caught up though.Sudai wrote:I just got back from a long, unexpected V/LA. Suffice to say, I was at a party Friday night and some things happened that caused me to not get home until just now. I'm going to go sleep since I haven't had a comfortable bed in days. I'll catch up and post my thoughts later tonight or some time tomorrow.
Slicey chopped up the first wagon for me but there were different things that I wanted to do with it.
First Lynch:
Zwetschenwasser(7):Boxman,Slicey,Percy,Zakeri,Sudai,Qwints,Whoot1234
Second Lynch:
Whoot1234(5):Boxman,chenhsi,Slicey,Starbuck,Shotty To The Body
Notes on this Lynch:
Zakeri voted before slicey, I said my vote would go right after this but I didn't want to push him to L-1, then Zakeri unvoted and then we start with Slicey again.
Okay, lets ignore Percy for now (confirmed Mafia, I'll get to him later).
Initial notes:
-Boxman is the first vote on both wagons.
-Zakeri got on both wagons near the middle (4/7 and 3/5 respectively) despite taking the vote off of Whoot to avoid another quick lynch.
-Slicey is on both as well.
-I'm on both near the middle.
-Whoot is dead, confirmed miller.
-Qwints changed games.
Mmkay.. I want to look at Boxman first.
He was eager to skip RVS in our thread and jumped straight onto the Benmage/DDD train despite it not pertaining to our game too heavily and even after agreeing to go through with RVS, he spent a lot of time posting about the other games. After that, a lot of his post don't contain real substance. He answers questions people ask but it isn't until he starts to put pressure on Whoot that he actively cotributes. That means he went through D1 with extremly little contribution to the town but he had 24 post (excluding the ones in confirmation stage). I'd call that active lurking.
When asked why he left his vote on Zwet from the begining without explination we get:
Which is valid, however, earlier he had posted:Boxman wrote:That was before the whole "only hammer" and "bulletproof claim" things.
This was his response to Hancho about why his vote had stayed on Zwet the whole time.Boxman wrote:I had actually forgotten my vote was there until you mentioned it, but by then he'd already made me suspicious of him, so my vote stood.
My question is, if he made you suspicious, and you didn't remember your vote was on him, why did you not think to unvote your RVS and then vote him? Surely you would have noticed that your vote was on him already in this case.
FoS: Boxman
Zakeri pulls a fairly neutral read from me in iso.
Slicey comes in and near instantly Meta-Clears Starbuck. Other than this, he looks fairly neutral to me, leaning slightly in favor of town so far.
Now to catch up aside from my promised bandwagon analysis.
Ugh, okay. I couldn't really glean much since everyone was just pressuring Whoot for reasons that I agree with. No deaths, no transfers. Didn't get much to work with from the night... ><-

Indefinite V/A. I have a lot of personal things going on in my life right now, and I don't know how much access I'm going to get. I'll still be around, but I'll probably be posting less.
Sudai, I'm not sure what you mean by clear, but I'm not confirming she's town. I just have a very strong feeling she's town.
No death is weird. No transfer's, no anything. Can there possibly be a mafia that can't kill?Taking a temporary retirement from playing mafia games... damn you invitationals.

I guess that it is possible that mafia can't kill. What do they do then, move people? That seems like it would be quite hard for them to win.
I'm not sure whether I agree with the idea that mafia are pulling their members to one game. If so, then either there aren't any mafia here, or they haven't gotten here yet. First is unlikely, and second is... good?I lost the game.-

It could be a cult, someone was recruited, no night message pops up. If we have multiple scum factions it isn't too far fetched to think one or more can't night-kill."By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest." -Confucius-

Or it's just that there's more mafia but without a kill sorta like a Jungle Republic setup (minus the scum killing faction.)Taking a temporary retirement from playing mafia games... damn you invitationals.

I honestly can't figure out what's going on - we had 1 kill on night 1, along with a push. Tonight, we have no kills? I can only think this means that that team wanted to kill in Tar's or fl's game, but Tar's game had no kills either.
There could be any number of things going on. We probably won't know until more people die.ShowCurrently Playing:
