Sure, it makes it seem more likely that Jed is innocent because he is aggressively attacking people a lot, but he could just be doing that to preempt negative attention. By stating your points 2 & 4, you're in effect buddying him.

I understand your point, but I wanted to let darklight figure out on himself that the reason jed is suspicious of him is not to "support me", but because dark has been acting rather suspicious.

I play real-life mafia all the time, like once every week or two weeks at least, but we barely use accusations like that. I feel playing real-life mafia helps with being a bit more aggressive and with reading reactions.

So, did you think your play was aggressive? Because I don't, especially not after you unvoted jed after some minor pressure.

Did you find any interesting reactions amongst the other players?

My opinion on dark is that he's an overeager newbie, who, yes, made mistakes and felt slightly scummy to me, but his most recent comment, however, feels like a scum slip up to me:

The avatar was a suggestion. I have suggested it several times in several games as have other IC's in many other games. No where did I boss everyone into getting one, I suggested getting one because it is easier for everyone to remember you by as at the time of the suggestion there were 4 avatarless players. I couldn't care less if there was one player without an avatar, but 4 is a bit too much.

If you don't want to comment on the game, then why play it? By the sound of your posts as of yet, you are very uncommitted to this game.

1) It pressures them into doing something.
2) Mafia like to not draw attention to themselves. Not posting early is a good way to get away with this because posts are heavily scrutinized during the RVS because there is nothing to go on anyway.
3) Even if said player is town, there is nothing to be gained by leaving them alive, so lynching them is a marginal loss at worst (at best, you nail a mafia you would have otherwise never gotten ... because you can't suspect someone if they don't say anything to suspect).
