As I said a few pages back, unless we're being mercilessly WIFOMd, the Piper is somebody who was inactive last night (Millar (now zwet); ztife; Rockatansky; BM)
Zwet is confirmed town, and Rockatansky is already a dancer, so that makes the two probable pipers Ztife and BM, both of whom have bizzarely volunteered themselves for a position it's obvious they didn't deserve. (go figure)
I willVote: Battle Mage. His saying he got "prodded by some night action overnight" in iso 100 makes me think he might be our man.
1. Who are you to judge who "deserves" a position? The executioner doesnt need to be someone who has played well, it needs to be someone who is protown. I fit the role perfectly.
2. Do you really think that I, as scum, would claim to have been prodded by a night-action, if that night actions implicated me as scum?
This is almost as funny as it is unnerving.
BM
2) WIFOM. Also, with the amount of attention you've been paying to this game, I wouldn't be surprised.
My PM does NOT say you were dancing last night (what about you, Izzy?). Potentially a mod error, so I'll see if I can get confirmation.

aren'tdancing (and now that I check your list, Ztife wasn't in my PM either). You're being called scum for being inactive on a night when an anti-town role took no action.Show"Shut up!" one woman shouted at another.

I don't have BM dancing, but then, I think the mod change has made a complete mess of the whole dancing thing - I only have myself, NabakovNabakov and Rockatansky dancing last night, yet the night before The Replacement was dancing as well, and he's not dead.
In full:
Night One: BarryLocke, DizzyIzzyB13
Night Two: BarryLocke, DizzyIzzyB13, Juls
Night Three: DizzyIzzyB13, NabakovNabakov, Rockatansky, The Replacement
(Mod change)
Night Four: DizzyIzzyB13, NabakovNabakov, Rockatansky
Rockatansky replaced knox. NabakovNabakov replaced BarryLocke, The Replacement replaced Shinnen_no_me. Juls died during Night Three.
Clearly something is wrong somewhere, and it seems to be a kinda important issue - if this is screwed up, then it's having a major affect on someone's ability to win, and if it can't be sorted out, I think we should consider abandoment, since it'd be unfair to continue.ShowDizzyIzzyB13: For the record, I /ghooked Cogitate :p

I'm not. But then, i never said i was. When this was being discussed, the only confirmed townie here was completely inactive.zwetschenwasser wrote:And BM, how are you a better choice for executioner than a confirmed town?

Sounds like you're a little too upset about the cock-up with the dancing thing.

...the fuck? If the game is damaged and a player's win condition is compromised because of mod activity, the game should be abandoned out of a sense of fair play. Typical BM bullshit that liking fairness is a reason to vote for someone.ShowDizzyIzzyB13: For the record, I /ghooked Cogitate :p

The Replacement died last night, it was posted a few pages ago (He was a town power role). If he was dancing previously to that, then that means the Piper couldn't have targeted him last night- which means the Piper must have skipped last night's action, rather than, as I thought possible, targeting The Replacement who then died.-

Ok. Izzy and NN, check with the mod and see if you can confirm who is and is not dancing. Hopefully we can get this sorted out.
Also...it sounds like warewolves can dance too, right? Otherwise the piper win condition dosn't make sense.
If we've got a likely warewolf suspect who's also a dancer, that would be a pretty good lynch, actually; lynching dancers makes it harder for the piper to win then lynching non-dancers.I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie-

Dont be opaque. Why would DizzyIzzyB13 be concerned about the win condition of an alleged anti-town faction, unless he was part of that anti-town faction? I'm not an authority on this game, but from my PoV, it stinks.Starbuck wrote:I don't think that's a reason for you to vote him.

Haha, if the game is damaged, how is whinging about it going to solve anything? I think it's odd that you raise this now, when your own affiliation comes into question. I dont see how Dizzy-town would feel abandonment was a reasonable response to an issue that hasnt even been discussed uptill now, from what i'm aware.DizzyIzzyB13 wrote:...the fuck? I dont know why my vote worries you so much tbh. I can only pick out 1 person here who is actually listening to me. I'm hardly likely to run you up.

I'm not familiar with the origional game; would the other dancers see the piper dancing with them?zwetschenwasser wrote:Dizzy is SO the piper.
I would tend to doubt it, since then, whoever the piper targets night 1 should instantly know who the piper is.
...and, actually, there were two people dancing night 1. Huh.
I donno. Still seems like a bad role design, to make all the dancers see the piper dancing with them.I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie-

Piper targets two a night in the card game. The role would be broken if the piper was seen dancing, so Dizzy cannot be the piper.
Ztife is the best candidate for inactive-piper. BM posted closer to night, but Ztife was inactive for a whole month whereas ztif was around for the other nights.

Ok, I just got an update from the mod, and it seems I was operating with bad info.
BM and Zitife are both dancing now in addition to Me, Izzy, and Rockatansky, so I guess we're back to square one.Unvote
This puts the list of non-dancers at: Mike, Zwet, Yos, Jahudo, Gorrad, and Starbuck.
Because we lost our operative tell (that the Piper didn't act last night), it's probably best to table the Piper hunt and just go after scum. When we get down to 2 or 3 people possibly being the Piper instead of 5 (so tomorrow, I guess), we'll have a better chance of nailing him.Show"Shut up!" one woman shouted at another.

Unvote- Battle Mage can't be the Piper then (I'd still consider lynching you as scum though).
Do we want to lynch someone who we think is scum who is dancing (and so put off the Piper for a day or so), or lynch someone who isn't dancing to try and get the Piper for good?
If the first, I'd lynch Battle Mage. If the second, I really don't know. Looking for the Piper, the only thing I can think of is if someone illogically defended a dancer from being lynched, but I don't remember anything like that happening and anyway, as long as the Piper stays safe from both the lynch and the nightkill they wouldn't need to do anything like that.-

It sounds like the piper targeted someone every night, so the piper actually must be someone who's been consistantly active.Jahudo wrote: Ztife is the best candidate for inactive-piper.
