Belili has a theory... it builds on my sacrifice-truant theory.
The mafia is sacrificing truant. They did so the last day by hammering without cause.
Well, why not get a 2-for-1 out of the deal? They KNOW we have a cop because the doc is dead and the remaining piece of the puzzle is the setup of the mafia team (re-read the original post if you're confused).
The strategy seems to be to expose the cop. Truant still gets lynched because no matter who "counter-claims", that person is more credible than truant. Still - the mafia know we have a cop, kill him/her tonight, and the town is faced with a guessing game the final night.
If the mafia don't kill the cop... and we do have a cop... then there is a good chance we'll have a final day role claim with the results of investigations and an easy lynch for the win.
That or truant is mafia and just trying to get us to assume we have a cop and since no one else claims to be one, he must be a townie-cop.
That or truant is telling the truth and just played really poorly the prior day.
Thoughts?-

yah i think that is best.
my only hang up is why would you wait so long into the day to decide to claim even if you are the pro-town cop? cause with an innocent you could have atleast clered one other person. IDK smells like a big ruse to me"I swear tubby is scum in every game I've read, even some of the ones he wasn't in. "~Vi

I really wasn't going to trust any alleged investigation result. I just think it may assist us tomorrow to know who you chose to flag.
If you were a town cop it seems to me you'd be all too eager to tell us who is innocent. Yet your only response is that edmund is guilty? I also think if you were a town cop you wouldn't bother waiting for a "counter-claim". I think that was an excuse to put off claiming so you could confer with your mafia-mate on who you should flag.
I'm ready to vote - anyone have anything to say before we risk losing the game? =/-

Belili: it's in the rules that the mafia can't talk during the day so your theory about me talking to anybody is bogus. I can't tell you who's innocent cause I only have 1 result. Clearly you all don't believe me so I take the responsibility for my actions and will do better next time.
Whatever.

My perspective on Truant's investigation:
I also had no intention of changing my vote based on Truant's investigation. I just wanted to see a few more interactions between players before the new lylo tomorrow.
If we lynch scum today, we will have a day tomorrow. I agree with Belili that it's a little interesting to see who a known mafia member named guilty/innocent because you'd want to have him interact with as many people as possible to see if you can somehow find a pattern and guess his partner.tubby(about Belili) wrote:ok belli this is lylo there is no tomorrow, there is no sacrifice deal making to be had it is we much lynch scum this time or we are done.

@tubby - Reread my posts please. I obviously didn't say the mafia are sacrificing a townie.... that's... well that's not even a sacrifice that's a kill. I'm suggesting they sacrificed truant who is a MAFIA.
And when you have 2 mafia and sacrifice 1.... there are how many left? 1. Thus there are how many days left? 1.
Yeesh.
Also - two nights but only one result? You would have at least had a result on someone dead already, right?-

@tubby: Obviously I'm convinced he's scum. He lied when he said he got a guilty investigation on me. Off course, the rest of you can't be sure of that.
@Belili:
So what you are saying is: If no-one, including you, can come up with a reason why I am suspicious we should give me a chance of getting lynched over Truant, who according to you has been the most suspicious player.Anyone care to make the case against edmund? If not, I say we roll the dice.I have to say I'm at a loss other than truant myself. That last hammer is very suspicious.I don't think he's going to tell us... he's just trying to expose the cop.
How about people just vote for the one of us they consider most suspicious? If you were a town cop it seems to me you'd be all too eager to tell us who is innocent. Yet your only response is that edmund is guilty? I also think if you were a town cop you wouldn't bother waiting for a "counter-claim". Am I speaking spanish? People keep misreading my posts...
No, edmund, of course I'm not saying "Hey truant is by far the most suspicious, lets lynch edmund".
To review,
If no one can make a case against you, roll the dice. "Roll the dice" isn't speaking-to-children specific but it's clear.Since edmund and truant voted for each other,at least one must be a goon, possibly both.
Thus who do we trust more, truant or edmund? That's the real question.
Anyone care to make the caseagainst edmund? If not, I say we roll the dice.
I proposed two options...
#1 - Someone can make a case against you thus we do option A
#2 - No one can make a case against you thus we do option B
Why, then, would you strangely assume option B was to lynch you?
Seriously?
Come on.-

sorry, i'm back home now, i'll be able to be more active from now on.
Truant
i do not buy Truant's cop claim.
breadcrumbs can easily be faked in any case, and it doesn't help that he dropped the so-called breadcrumb only one page before the actual claim. usually, breadcrumbs come in form of acrostics or other such poetic pursuits, not a scumtell that can get one lynched.
besides, i definitely don't see "i didn't see any coptells from xBEKx/Mevorra" as a breadcrumb in any way.
his bizarre reluctance to claim is also suspicious. i find it very odd that he is more interested in counter-claimers than his apparent guilty result on edmund.angles. notice that he hasn't even made a single attempt at creating a case on edmund.angles....
vote: Truant
i'm not sure why people are still stalling.-

The town faced a dilemma. The most suspicious person appeared to be the Town Cop as he mentioned. Truant took out his badge, showed it to everyone and said edmund.angles was guilty based on his nightly investigations. He said that during the night, he saw edmund.angles walking tirelessly inside his home polishing a knife.
"It was for the chicken dinner you idiot. What do you want me to do, use a hacksaw instead?"
"Yeah, eating villagers for dinner, scum"
The bickering went back and forth, with several members of the town appearing confused, others seeming unfazed of the odd situation. Could they trust Truant and risk it all? Or should they go with their initial suspicions? Could it be that edmund.angles was indeed preparing for dinner, or for another kill as Truant saw?

The day dawns after yesterday's victory, but one of you is not getting out of their house. In fact, that person lay immobile, yet seemingly peacefully taken out of their misery. Only three remain in the village. One of them wonders, how will they create a new society... one thinks how they will avenge their lost partner. Ironically, both of them move closer to their goal.
