In Japan, a travelling companion (who eats fish but not meat) repeatedly ordered dishes which we were told contained only vegetables but turned out to have fish in them.
My theory is that the Japanese consider fish to be vegetables.

Not very actively. I have a couple of incomplete projects floating around my knitting bag (a shawl, some socks, a hat, and a scarf) but I haven't touched my needles since March or there abouts. I think I knitted myself out over the winter and it will be a while still before I can make myself a slave to the needles again. (On a related note, I still have a bunch of spun yarn that I need to ply, and a large pile of wool that I need to either spin or felt. Bleh.)
When will you be less busy?
How much ice cream could you eat in one sitting?
If you could play any game a second time what mafia game would you play again and would you change anything about it?
How many licks does it take to get to the center of a lolly?
I miss you too!!!
Sarcasm is just a way of saying how stupid you think someone is but in a more polite way.

Answered this already since someone else asked. Popcorn crocodile. I really don't recommend it.
What's your favorite flower?
I guess orchids, cause they're so clean looking. Or lilacs cause they smell nice. Or crocuses. I have fond memories of those. I also really like lilies and irises and roses. And marigolds are awesome as a spice. Violets and roses are great food flavouring. I don't really know. Anything other than carnations and gardenias is okay by me, I suppose.
How long is your daily commute? Do you take a bus?
Depends. 30-50 mins, I guess. Sometimes.
VP Baltar wrote:What's the fastest you've ever driven a car?
I guess around 75 mph? I don't really know. I don't drive/own a car.
What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done?
I really don't know. I tend to play it pretty safe. I guess its between meeting a person off the internet, walking home alone at night in a sketchy part of town on occasion, and passing out asleep in public places.
What's the stupidest thing you've ever done?
Fall in love with the ex, probably. That was pretty dumb. Actually, I think you can file most of my love life (or lack there of) under this category. Carrying a torch for a guy 10 years my senior and totally out of my league ranks a pretty close second.

Honestly, I don't know. I'm hoping by the fall. Why, are you indirectly asking me when Animaniacs is happening?
How much ice cream could you eat in one sitting?
Not much. One scoop, tops. Unless its been a really really really bad day. Then I might make it all the way up to two scoops. I honestly don't eat ice cream very often. Not that huge of a fan of it.

I'd play Monty Python again. And you know, not get nightkilled so early.

No idea, I don't have the patience or the oral fixation necessary to eat lollipops.
Why do you spell the word "favorite" with a "U" in it?

. Yes, it's a novel by Virginia Woolfe, but I've only seen the movie. It's a really interesting angle on gender roles. I think you'd enjoy it. Or hate it. People seem to really love the move or really hate the movie.
Do you consider yourself a happy person?

I might get around to it eventually. But I'd read the book first. I'll tack that on the giant list of stuff I need to read.

Because that's the way it's spelled?
Don't let the Brits fool ya, dahlin'.
Why do you like Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai better than Dead Man? What was your favorite line(s) in Ghost Dog?

Unless spellcheck gets me, I tend to spell the or/our words with the u. Because it just named more sense that way when you think about it/

Because it's a by far superior film? Forest Whitaker's performance is brilliant. The cinematography is better. It's much more philosophical. It doesn't have Johnny Depp in it, which is something I tend to enjoy. (He has a few great films, Benny and Joon and The Man Who Cried among them, but I'm just sooooo sick of the man.) It's more hopeful. It makes more sense. And I just think it's infinitely superior in premise as well as execution. As for lines, Ghost Dog isn't quotable, I don't think, but I love the parts between him and Raymond.
Ah. I liked the part where the mobsters compared Indian names to rapper names.

That was a pretty good part too. Not as good at the part where he's talking with the hunter though. And I really liked all the samurai quot voice-overs.
