I could claim and be lynched, or not claim and still be lynched. Does it really make a difference?

Yeah, I can't really be bothered to try hard in this game because I've known for like twenty something pages that I was going to be the lynch today. It's just a shock that it took you all this long to actually do it. Also, hohum is a douche.

I'm not a fan of lynches on policy, hohum - that mentality can still be harmful to the town.

If arguments bother then mafia probably isn't your cup of tea.

How would you suggest we go about scum hunting, and what makes you think that focusing on two people is in any way productive?
Arguments are fine if they help to further discussion. Your argument was narrowly focused and was a distraction from what I felt was the start of some decent discussion. If you think AndyTony is scum, then make a case based on objective evidence rather than personal dislike and accusations of OMGUS.

Ceph, if you are town, then your attitude is not at all helpful. Even if you are going to be lynched, you can still help the town by sharing your suspicions and any last pieces of evidence you might have against others so we will have more information to work with on D2. To me, your refusal to claim is essentially a vanilla claim. If you have nothing left to say, I will hammer tonight.

Sounds reasonable.

the cases have been considered and discussed and Ceph has been given fair time (too much time in his opinion).

Thank you, Kdub. I think the most beneficial thing for the town right now would be a lynch, if only to keep people focused and involved in the game.
And I agree with AndyTony that everyone has had adequate time to post their thoughts and ideas and cases; Cephrir is no exception.

I can't really [at this point] think of why a no lynch would be a good idea.

I don't really care what you're a fan of. I've read some of your other games and you're clearly in way over your head.

How can I get a read on him if he doesn't answer questions? It's a scumtell. How can I get a read on him if he keeps telling me how much I suck? It's a scum tell.

Why do you insist on defending him? It's a scum tell.

Why don't you stop trying to moderate the discussion? It's as scum tell.

Pushing for a D1 no-lynch, scumtell.

If cephrir were a little more cooperative I'd vote you based on what you've said the last page alone.

I see you'd rather play games than cooperate. If you don't want to be in this game I'll gladly put you out of your misery. I also asked you a question that I see you refused to answer.

Going back to my D1 vote.

Vote: Khamisa

She's been getting away with too much lurking, even after she was called on it.

hohum, my comment about your argument was directed at you, AndyTony, and Alduskkel. Had any of them responded in the same way you did, I would have answered them in the same way. I did not defend AndyTony, nor did I push for a no-lynch (don't know where you got that).

hohum:
1) If you believe cephrir's wagon was pushed by scum, why were you on it? You didn't act like you believed he was town. On the other hand, if you believe it was reasonable to want him lynched, it doesn't make sense to accuse the ones pushing for it.

2) You're accusing AndyTony of wanting to shorten the deadline. This means you believe there was something to be gained out of a longer deadline, a reason to play for another three weeks instead of for another week. However, you hammered cephrir - which is even worse in terms of overall play, since if you know there's a deadline, you can act on that, you're more in a hurry. If you think the deadline is in another two weeks or so, and suddenly you find out somebody hammered, then you didn't get a chance to say something if you wanted to.

3) Why don't you like the Khamisa wagon?

This is interesting. Khamisa does eem to have suspicions and her being VLA may be a way for her to lay low. She may be VLA, but also using it as a way for people to forget about her for a while. I don't feel comfortable voting for her quite yet.

Ceph's innocence doesn't dictate Khamisa's guilt.

Let's see what the re-read shows for Ceph's run. Relationships and any red flags

The fact that you're scum and you pushed cephrir's wagon does. You're already setting up your next mislynch.

hohum: You accused AndyTony of having a desire to be out of the spotlight, but if anything I'd say AT is an attention magnet. Are you saying that he's bad at staying out of the spotlight, or that he's been doing something subtle to stay out of it that you picked on? Something else?

I don't think we should immediately jump on Khamisa. Most of the reasoning, as far as I thought, was that she was scum buddies with Cephrir....I think after a mislynch I'm going to re-evaluate her case before I place a vote.

I can only stress that Ceph's innocencence doesn't condemn Khamisa in any way.

There was enough suspicion and reasoning to merit his lynch, and his throwing in the towel didn't help.

I can't fully agree with "Active lurking" as a solid reason to lynch someone.

There has been a LOT of activity issues on this board that I myself regard it as a null tell. There has yet to be a pressing issue or heated wave of intellectual scumhunting for anyone TO actively lurk with, you know?

There's been a lot of lurking and inactivity, yes, but the difference is that Khamisa is
actively
lurking. She could participate more, and even went to the bother to check several of Cephrir's previous games, but she chooses not to.

I'd like to hear from MadCrawDad - - he often has something useful to say, I don't think he's had a single post that's failed to provoke thought.

I would very much like to contribute more at this time but I've been moving into a new house these last few days (for school). Have a couple of concerts to hit up as well. I will hopefully be able to give this my full attention before the week is out
