This is all speculation of course (only the first tidbit). If a vote is given by a scum player, intended to pressure a town player into giving some sort of scummy reaction or play style, and it is immediately unvoted. All the while this vote is actually the hammer, it could be one of two things. 1) The scum player realizes that it is the hammer, and votes anyways, but by unvoting right away, he tries to appear genuine when he says "I didn't mean to hammer that fast." Or 2) it shows that the scum player knows he is voting a town player, suddenly realizes that it is the hammer, and unvotes, because he doesn't want to be suspicious on day 2.

Possible Scumslip. <-- Last line of second link.

I unvoted because I realized I made a mistake.

Also, you're the one who told me I hammered.

I looked over since the last vote count, and saw no unvotes, after my third look over, after some one mentioned that Oct unvoted, I looked again. Notice that his unvote was in the middle/end of a paragraph? Not one of the major things that caught my eye when I was doing a breif run through. Don't blame me for your panicky disposition.

how is that an ad-hom attack? Do you know what the definition of the word is? I'm pointing out that you indeed made a mistake. That's a factual piece of information, not a personal attack.

I said you fucked up. I didn't call you a fuck up. Learn to read.

We both fucked up. The difference between us is that I can admit when I made a mistake, you clearly can't.

You're still in school, right?

If you can't tell the difference subjectively between a verb (your actions, you fucked up) and a noun (you are a fuck up) when in a subjective context, then you should consider asking your guidance counselor to give you more English classes next year.

Seriously, work on your reading comprehension problems.

I laughed.

yet the noun in both clauses is "you." You said that I
fucked
up, meaning that it has apparently happened at some other point in time, not necessarily relative to this game. Also insisting that I will do so in the future as well. Generally meaning, that I have
fucked
up, and will most likely, according to hohum who (subconsciously) believes I will continue to do in the future. Therefore, I am a
fuck
up.
1 Person A makes claim X. 2 Person B makes an attack on person A. 3 Therefore A's claim is false.

1 I am calling you scum(my)
2 You call me a

3 I must be wrong about you being scum(my)

@all: If you vote or unvote, can you put it at or near the end of your posts on a separate line?

@BC-151: You don't even factor in the possibility that hohum's town who just misread the topic. Like you. You missed the Unvote. I almost missed it myself. You're being hypocritical in that hohum could very well have made the same honest mistake you just admitted to.

Change:
BloodCovenent >>>
speculative town
tilting scummy

Still, my vote rests on Charnel because I want to know why he tried to ask for a lynch on someone else when he's under some pressure himself. I think he was in no position to do that. I'd rather have him over BC at present.

Also... I think I missed this:

@Charnel-131: I'm saying the link *between* you and VP as specifically a scumpair wasn't there. I really, really don't get how that even relates to me being scummy.

@hohum&BC: I disapprove of all of this ad-hom attacking crap. This is undisciplined scumhunting, and even anti-town, because it's distracting. Set your belligerence inside and focus.

Why do you think I went on about keeping a level head and cool emotions? You're a living example. If your sanity is lost, you completely lose sight of the game.

In short: Shut up and play the game.

I am playing, hohum had several Ad hom's on me, and also a
scumslip
right here.

The only ad hom I used, was saying he was so gay, which wasn't really calling him gay, but more or less, his behavior. I never actually said "you are so gay."

This isn't Survivor: Mafiascum, hohum. If you're voting based on the weakest player or whoever's "doing it wrong", well, you're doing it wrong.

Good night everyone.

I'm voting based on my well-documented case against him, but also because he's useless. He's going to be an automatic policy lynch for me in the future, though.

Vote Count:

L-1
NONE

L-2
BloodCovenent - (hohum, muzzz)
Charnel - (VP Baltar, yabbaguy)

L-3
Octupis - (Charnel)
hohum - (BloodCovenant)

With seven alive, it is four to lynch.

Mod Note: The language doesn't bother me, but watch the word choice guys. No one has complained to me yet, so I won't ban curses (I really don't care), but everyone must remember that this is a game first.

On a more serious note, I'll gladly tone down my language if it will help resolve any personality conflicts.

I find the use of strong language to be an effective cage-rattling tool so my default mode of operation is always to be as aggressive as possible. I also realize that this game largely revolves around social dynamics, so if I'm making anyone other than bloodcovenant uncomfortable then let me know and I'll stop.

I have a feeling that this post alone will be enough to take some of the edge off.
