Lobstermania has replaced Seryna. I believe that means that all needed replacements are found, but I'll double-check, see if some prodding is needed, etc.
Vote Count:
Alduskkel (1)- hohum
AndyTony (0)
Cephrir (4)- AndyTony, MadCrawdad, ODDin, pablito
hohum (0)
Kdub (0)
Khamisa (3)Kdub, The Replacement, Cephrir
Kise (0)
lobstermania (0)
MadCrawdad (0)
ODDin (0)
pablito (0)
The Replacement (0)
Zer0ph34r (1)- Khamisa
Not voting (4)- Alduskkel, Kdub, Kise, lobstermania
With 13 alive, 7 votes will achieve a lynch.-

Vote: Cephrirsince it doesn't put him at L-1 anymore.
hohum: You haven't listed any reasons why I'm scummy, so your vote on me is frankly ridiculous.
Also, I was posting at about 1 AM so I'm sorry if I had trouble wrapping my head around your vote.
I love how the Theory link has a link to the subcategory "Logical Fallacies" which links to "Appeal to Majority".hohum wrote:Go read the Game Theory and Theory articles.
But it was clear that your vote with the broken quote tag at the bottom was confusing ODDin and me, so I'm not sure why you didn't clear that up.hohum wrote:I didn't post an explanation because nobody asked.
Also, why did you state that you were putting Cephrir at L-2 when you were putting him at L-1?
Which is exactly why you explained it to me when I merely asked about it.hohum wrote:Let me clarify something: The whole point of voting the way I do is for pressure and to extract information out of people. Explanation usually renders that pressure moot.
Who are you talking to here, ODDin or me?hohum wrote:It's also in poor taste to sit there and call someone out on things before the person they're interacting with has had a chance to respond.-

I'm talking to both of you, or rather all of you, mostly because I can predict with some certainty what is going to unfold here:
1) Kise is going to come back from V/LA and be a raging homo. I've already had this debate with him once already this week so I'm just going to ignore him and he's going to use that as justification for his vote. I won't ever play with him again.
2) AndyTony is going to come back and tell me how what I'm doing is scummy. When I give him reasons that he's wrong he's going to ignore them and continue saying the same thing over and over again. It's going to degenerate into an argument and then he's going to push for my lynch based on the fact that I'm not answering his questions.
3) Zer0 is going to hop on my bandwagon, because he's an exceedingly poor player. He may also try and hit me over the head with my meta as a retort to this because we were in a game together where I was mislynched as a miller.
Either way this game is made of fail, and we're going to lose to the scum team.-

I felt that Khamisa was mostly commenting on discussion and not really asking questions, and I don't agree with her reasons for suspecting Zero. She seems like she is trying to slip under the radar. I also didn't like how she initially claimed not to understand the case on Cephrir, even though I thought MadCrawdad (and AndyTony to a lesser extent) did a pretty good job summarizing it.AndyTony wrote:The Ceph and Khamisa wagons seem most prodominant.
Can we get an officil recp from everyone on the wagons on their views to each case?
Ceph is also suspicious because of the note to self business and his supposed reasoning for that, but I'm more comfortable voting Khamisa right now.-

Oh I did help lynch him, but did I "hop on"? No. I voted for him and much later, his lynch was caused. If I was the last one to vote for him or if everyone started voting for him in a very quick amount of time, you'd be right, but you're not.
PS: That could've been 1 post."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

You're just arguing semantics. Whether you had a reason to vote for him or not is pretty irrelevant.
If you snipe at everyone who votes for not having a good reason you're going to hand the win condition to the scum every time. I don't know where the notion that "BANDWAGONS R EVIL ARGGGH!!" came from, but if every bad vote caught scum every time then this would be a very simple and boring game.-

I never even brought up whether or not I had a reason for voting for him, so I have no idea where that came from. I don't "snipe" at everyone who votes without a good reason and I never said "BANDWAGONS R EVIL ARGGGH!!". Not even anything meaning that. And do me a favor and don't put words in my mouth or claim that I have said things that I have not despite the fact that you may think that I said them."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

hohum, I'm beginning to wonder if you're reading what's been posted in the thread prior to replying.
Here is me explicitly asking you to explain about your vote on Ceph (post 647, two pages back):
Also, you still didn't actually say what you've got against Kise. I'm understanding it's a meta thing, but calling him a raging homo doesn't help us understand anything, other than your dislike of homosexuals.ODDin wrote:hohum, if it was a failed attempt at quoting, do unvote and explain what you're trying to say normally (also, preview is your friend). If you did actually want to vote Ceph... do explain yourself.
Also, it is interesting that you believe your actions are going to bring to your lynch, yet you don't find anything wrong about them. I'm assuming this means you think a majority of players here (those who are going to vote for you, that is) are very poor players indeed. Either that, or you just don't give a flying fuck about this game and its outcome, and really couldn't care less if your faction, whatever it is, wins or loses. I'm inclined to believe the second.-

Your fear mongering is noted. You need to realize there's more than one strategy for this game. It's theory, not play-it-my-way-or-get-the-fuck-out.ODDin wrote:Also, it is interesting that you believe your actions are going to bring to your lynch, yet you don't find anything wrong about them. You basically just threatened to lynch me over a theory disagreement.-
