Heh. Yeah, I'm a rules lawyer, certainly. I'll think about it, Juls. (would give you a chance to play)

Not naming anyone should help push closer to a 'finish', I believe -- get us closer to a new game. Not naming also helps avoid any sort of bias, and allows the current players a somewhat even footing to slug it out to the very end.

No like. I will continue your legacy, but only if you name me. Otherwise I will

This is going to be quick and dirty because I don't have a lot of time.

-Kill attempt 15 on Moratorium 100% was saved 100%
-Kill attempts 16-35 are not necessary because dizardin has /out'd
-Kill attempts 36-55..there were no save attempts so if any of these are 1's or 2's then yabbaguy is killed.

On kill attempt 37 yabbaguy is killed.

That leaves Moratorium and chenshi as the only active players. Per rule 33:

33. If at any point there are only two active players with voting rights left in the game, the player with the highest balance wins.

Moratorium has won Nomic II with a balance of 5197 $$$. Congratulations!

I will draw up notes after I return from my trip (on Monday). Thank you all for playing it was fun.

Good game all.

Could we know who did the kill attempts?

Anyway, like I said, I spent almost no effort on this game. I made 3 market transactions total, and all of my kill/save attempts never got rolled.

Why did no one attack me?

Was it a loophole that the money donation wasn't required?
I lost the game.

My guess is that you weren't viewed as a serious thread, chenhsi -- others had bigger targets on them.

I guess that it was also possible that I had little money, so if they killed me off, whoever they face against in the final 2 would possibly be more difficult to deal with.
I lost the game.

The most recent kill attempts were by Moratorium (the big block of 40). He saw you, chenhsi, as the person with the least amount of money and knew if it got down to 2 it would be the one with the most money.

Everyone thank our panel if you see them around: Artem, SpyreX, and Vi.

Thanks first to Juls for running the game.

Thanks to Artem, SpyreX and Vi, Juls was very good about telling me.. well.. nothing at all about this game, and I was impressed that she was able to get a panel to help her make decisions. I was very happy to see that this panel seemed to be very active and got decisions back quickly, which helped a lot. So thanks.

Basically, in the end I figured to try and completely overwhelm the "save" mechanic, and kinda took a chance that chenhsi's low money total was because he hadn't done much. If he had just a few more items at the end, he could have sold them all and won (I had nothing left but money). Also, someone buying the item that allows a 24 hour kill could have taken me out if applied at the right time.

Anyways.. It was a risk that paid out. Thanks for playing, everyone. At least this time I don't have to come up with game-ending poetry.

I was part of the kill attempt squad.

Yea, I stopped giving cash to dizardin partially out of laziness. It was a loophole.

Juls, you cited a program you used. What application did you run it on? (or was it like a BASIC programming software?)

I wrote a C++ program to help me manage the voting and another one to help me manage the marketplace/Nomic bucks.

(Notes to come next week, still on vacation)

So, Moratorium basically made up the game, told everyone how to play it, and then beat the living crap out of everyone who attempted to play the game he basically created?

Yep, dang glad I quit.

The game was "reset" halfway through and all my rules were abolished.

Yeah, the rule by which he proceeded to pummel the rest were written by Juls. =)

It was a righteous kill, nonetheless.

@yabba -- actually, I didn't know if you'd stopped funding me; I couldn't tell, since I had so much cash and items, it was a bit hard to track. If I'd gotten a notice from the mod about getting the funds, that would have let me track it; ah well, lesson learned. =)

BTW, Moratorium, I actually thought of the quick-kill ability just after it was rendered useless -- less than 24 hours to the kill attempts on me. Given my funding, I'd have had a good chance to take out everyone else (had about 25k worth of goods on hand).
